  1. I maintain that the pipeline protests are proceeding with the full support of Justin Trudeau and his advisors.

The Liberals are funding many groups like the Pembina Institute. All opposed to fossil fuels of any kind.

Look for more protests. And the protests against TMX will make the current protests look small.

    1. Prinz Dummkopf is determined to turn Alberta into an empty, devastated wasteland, thereby accomplishing what his father set out to do.

    2. You are absolutely correct Joe, I’ve been saying the exact same thing since this co-ordinated eco- terrorism began. Extinction Rebellion is listed as a terrorist organization in the UK but the Turdhole/Butts gang work with these terrorists hand in hand. Watching Justine smirking and sneering during QP in the House tells you how much that traitorous asshole cares, he doesn’t. The Turdhole/Butts gang are leading this economic terrorism and their happy to be doing it, the bastards.

  2. Who could have figured that out?
Communists are always going to COMMUNIZE, it is what the Liberal Party of Canadope DOES !!!
But Juthtin is SO brilliant, he will be the FIRST ruler to make communism work. It has NEVER worked in human history, but Blackie McBlackface will reinvent Communism, and get it right finally. SMH !!!!!!!!

  3. And yet churches can’t get money for summer camps unless they support abortion. Funny old world isn’t it.

    1. The Bible clearly states, that the love of money, is the root of evil. If you are going to a church, where government grants are more important than God? Find a different church.

“Always stand on principle even if you stand alone.” ~ John Adams

Stop supporting people, who don’t believe in anything outside of re-election.

          1. Everyone always gets that part wrong, don’t they. And they won’t stop. They always forget the “love of”.

          2. Yup. Tied for first place for most often partially quoted is “Man does not live by bread alone”

… but by every word that issues from the mouth of The Lord.

It doesn’t say what they want it to say, so they leave out the parts that they don’t want you to think about. Just like CBC “news”.

  4. So, clients gonna shovel cash at their patrons, patrons want to collect clients. Tell me something I don’t know.

The Energy War Room, the Clinton Foundation (Friend Of Bill), the Trudeau Foundation, the Liberal Party, the Democrat Party, the CPoC, the GOP, … they are all involved in the same game, they trade players, they draft new ones, etc., etc., etc.. They give out appointments, contract with their friends, Biden gonna Biden.

  5. Thanks for posting this. The problem is that the establishment media cartel will censor this story, to cover up the Liberal sleaze. The Toronto Sun is an outsider media source, with little or no input into the Laurentian media discussion.

  6. Of course its Finnigan who screws up again. What a complete idiot. Just like his boss. Liberals are corrupt. They don’t know anything else and idiots, like my neighbor, keep voting for them.

  7. Is there anyone with a functioning brain, who is convinced that this is a ‘one off’ incident. I suspect millions are being shuffled into these scabby pukes.

    1. “seven contracts were awarded to Pembina for consulting and research, all but one below the $25,000 threshold mandating open bidding.” is not a “one off”, it’s SEVEN.

That is a Pattern of Behavior. The purpose of open bidding is to reduce the occurrence of bribery and kickbacks.
Couple this with the whole SNC Lavalin scandal and it’s all about vice and corruption.
Ponder that these incidents are only what has seen the light of day. You can be sure there are more concealed.
      corrupt corrupt corrupt

      1. Quite possibly not, Oz. It could simply be one large or a few large contracts split up in several pieces to get it as much of it as possible under the competitive bidding radar. Which makes it more corrupt still.

        1. So you’re suggesting it isn’t indicative of a pattern of behavior then?(by the way cgh, your appearances here are too rare)

          1. On the contrary, Oz, I am suggesting this is pattern behaviour. What I am suggesting is that there is far more trickery and chicanery than we ever hear about. Not the slightest hint appeared a year ago about how truly evil some of the corrupt business that SNC-Lavalin was engaged in with Ghaddafi in Libya. All of it underwritten by the Canadian taxpayer through things like EDC.

And I do not use the word “evil” lightly. You would be astonished at some of the truly vile business that some Canadian firms have conducted.

As for the matter at hand, think of it like cheating at Monopoly. Simply sneaking one house at a time onto board without paying for them while no one notices.

          2. Thank you, Oz, for your kind words.

To return to the topic, I expect it’s all about misdirection. For example, with the rail blockades it provides convenient air cover for the Liberals’ own difficulties. By blaming rail blockades on the Wetsuweten, they are able to disguise to a certain degree the fact that the real opposition to Teck was within the Liberal caucus itself. Trudeau and his gormless cabinet were under considerable pressure from their own members to reject Teck. But blaming it all on the aboriginals provides lots of air cover for the scum.

Remember, this is a minority government. They have to get a Throne Speech and a budget passed and they’ve got no one to depend on except the Dipper rump. Jagmeet & Co. will be asking for blood as their price, particularly if you saw the remarks of Charlie Angus today. So the Libs are owned at least in part by the furthest Left factions in Parliament right now.

It would still be going on except for the unpleasant fact (for the government) that citizens started taking action to shut down the blockades. Can’t have that. Pretty soon there would be no government authority at all. Hence the drastic change for the Trudeau government last week between Tuesday and Friday.

  8. No surprise, exactly what can be expected from a corrupt government.
Having a minority government with a caretaker leader of official opposition nothing will change.

  9. Heh … they, the “Liberals” corrupt everything they touch, this is not different.
It is in the calculation that they will get caught, will apologize and everything will be just fine.

    Works every time.
    No questions asked.

Is there actually an opposition to make them pay for the corruption?

    Don’t look like it.

  10. If you don’t want the Pembina Institute haunting your business you might hire them as your environmental consultants. They are both rabid environmental lobbyists and environmental consultants – like mixing business and pleasure. Not sure what mixed message that sends but it sounds a lot like the Liberal Party of Canada.

    1. Scar,
Pembina has a serious conflict of Business… It is like the Mafia that threatens to burn your Business , but will insure your business if you pay them not to Burn it down…. Pembina advises the Government & they provide Industry services to avoid violating those same regulations… More Regulation.. More Service Money…
Pembina makes money on both sides of their own transactions….

  11. This is petty and pales in comparison with what, $2 billions lost by the economy due to road blockades that they refused to deal with.
Yes, it is cute to drag the $130k bribe by the ruling party, but this amount is ludicrous. One cannot even buy a house with that.

But $2 billion is significant, even in comparison with the Tech mine run into the ditch by them.

The Cons must stop petty bickering and focus on important! Forensic investigation into the wholesale destruction of Canada by the libs.

Commit to the repealing of C-68 and there will never be another liberal government in Canada for many decades to follow.

    1. They apologized for lying about not giving $182k.

The Feds also gave Pembina Institute grants of $1.7 million (as stated at bottom of article.

      1. I was told moments ago that my $2 billion estimate was a huge understatement. From what I hear it was only the paper industry’s losses. The figure should probably be quadrupled.

  12. This is just the winning formula for Liberal political success – being good to your friends while screwing your enemies, IOW, keeping the green commies, media, NDP brain trust, etc in the tent while always demonizing conservatives like recently keeping them out of their all-party circle jerk. That it is corrupt is beyond debate but fully sanctified as a means to a righteous end’ given the players. In the deranged dominion, the left rules by divine right.

  13. Leftists and eco-fascists, but I repeat myself, are genetically predisposed to being garbage people. At this point, the moment a leftist opens his or her foul mouth in my presence, I automatically assume they’re lying, because they simply cannot tell the truth. Bring back the guillotine.

  14. I’m surprised the Asshole Party apologized at all. Of course its only because they got caught and because they get caught so rarely, I guess I shouldn’t be surprised.

  15. Apparently there’s a shortage of common drugs, even eye drops for glaucoma. My local druggist has to contact my doctor to get a replacement. Has this got anything to do with China?
How many of our drugs are manufactured in that commie state so admired by our hairy faced leader?

    1. This shortage proves that nobody is infallible. Shouldn’t drug makers have a backup system in place elsewhere to supply provisions that are vital like drugs? Maybe they do, but there aren’t enough if them, still, others should be made available to pick up the slack.

  16. Sounds EXACTLY like adscam. Paying supporters for nothing. Any bets the “work” they paid for didn’t require any work at all? Where are the results of this alleged “research” they paid for?

  17. “We apologize for getting caught…..”

In the corporate world, we work with ceiling limits for various expenditures and needs. It is a strategy to come in JUST under the limit, to sometimes avoid scrutiny, however, multiple examples of the same expenditure are caught.

The LIEberals, as usual are LYING THRU THEIR TEETH. They are in league with Pembina and their anti-business tactics. These people are evil!

  18. In related news True North reports that an environmental firm in San Francisco is looking for someone to campaign against the LNG project and fracking in B.C. The job pays 70-80 thousand a year.
