    I’m shocked to discover that CA has public transparency laws that prevent such stonewalling. In fact, I can easily see all the $half Million dollar annual salaries of UC professors and administrators. Sorry Canada … for being a totalitarian Communist State.

    BTW … what “taxpayers”? Obama reminded us all that … “we didn’t build that”. Your tax remittances didn’t build the University. How DARE you NOT give ALL your allegiance to the University Bureaucrats.

        I find it amusingly ironic that the leftist Democrats who created FOIA as a reaction to Nixon and Watergate … absolutely HATE it and refuse to comply, or foot drag, when the FOIA is aimed at their misdeeds. Our Deep State … at every level of government … Federal, State, County, and City … is utterly corrupted and in need of a very bright light shined on their dealings and behaviour.

  4. When I was a member of the military, I, along with several other members in uniform set up desks and kiosks during “Career Day”. Needless to say, UVIC Students are some of the most left-wing you can find, and they are extremely ill-informed and violent. Two men, and a woman in uniform, and some of these idiot students stood there yelling at us, calling us baby-killers, animals, parasites, etc..etc..etc….the usual blather from the kind of folks who wouldn’t even consider risking any harm to protect anyone else. They were rude to us, but whenever a student stopped by for a chat…it just got worse.
    Another example of UVIC student mentality. During one Federal election, there was an NDP candidate’s office right across the road from a local pub that military guys would visit regularly (It was called the Tudor House). I was getting off the bus one morning, and a couple other folks in uniform got off with me. There was a group of about 5 or 6 students (with prominent UVIC jackets) standing there with the NDP MP, and they started yelling at us again with the same stupid and ill-informed comments and opinions. I just told the other guys to ignore them; and we carried on to work.

    Another school. I volunteered for the Remembrance Day ceremony at a local public school. There were 6 veterans there; 5 of them in wheelchairs, and when the introductions were completed, I was to give a speech about why we have remembrance day to these grade 5 and 6 students. Before I could give my speech, the drama teacher at the school apologized and said that she and her students had prepared some skits as a means to celebrate the veterans. I of course told her to go ahead.
    Well, imagine my anger when the “skits” turned out to be a bunch of 10 and 11 year olds marching around in circles chanting activist slogans and carrying signs with such brilliant analysis such as: “No blood for oil” “Homes for the homeless” “There are no just wars”….and other equally ridiculous crap. I don’t blame the kids; as it was the drama teacher standing there in the centre of the room with the smug look of accomplishment on her face. It was also clear that some in the audience were not impressed.
    After it was over, I gave my speech and left. I filed a formal complaint about the incident, and after several weeks did receive an apology from the administration at that school. I’m sure that teacher is still working there. I’m sure she was a UVIC graduate. Here’s a hint for any parents out there who want to send their kids to UVIC. Don’t do it. It’s a vile, oppressive place if you are not following the narrative; and it’s faculty is just turning out one left-wing loser after another.

      There may be many who think that our civilization isn’t worth maintaining, mostly because they’ve never known anything else and they take your protection for granted. God grant that I never become one of them.

  6. Actually, once governments take money from taxpayers, it’s theirs. They now own it. That money is no longer “taxpayer funds”.

    As a result, they can use that money however they wish because it’s theirs.

            In any case the hypothesis or prediction made by scientists is about the results by 2050.

        Crawford’s books (plural) were translated into numerous languages. That is not credible because not peer reviewed. Because the peer review process is designed to weed out the ideological heretics. Because none gets to become an editor without being ideologically sound. Yes just like in Soviet Union. You want to sneak one or two pass the peer review mafia? You got to be smart about how to do it. Again just like back in the communist world.

        I mentioned Michael Beanstock last time I smacked you. He published his work in peer refereed journals. But these were statistical journals not environmental journals so his heresies weren’t detected and thus were allowed to stand on their own merit. Have you checked him out? Of course you did not, and even if you did, you would not understand a thing.

        He is painstakingly documenting how refereed climate cultists routinely commit statistical crimes that would earn an F for a senior economics or statistics undergraduate.

Recall that when you tried to sound all learned to us dumb rednecks you mentioned how one is not allowed to use the term “professor” to call an associate professor because that title is reserved only to full professors. I asked what school you went to that does that? Care to get back to us on it?

  9. I have a tidbit of this treatment from shitty hall.
    3 times in the last 8 yrs I attempted to find out the phone number to call when sumbuddy blocked my driveway.
    no answer.
    last time I tried, I switched to ‘can u put a ‘do not block driveway’ sign up *like the 2 in the accompanying photos with the addresses embedded in the photo*
    a series of excuses were followed by, egad, the existing sign post uprooted and a new ‘<-no parking' sign that even took out a legitimate spot in front of the house.
    I hounded the snot out of the councilor who no redirects my calls to (nasal voice) 'cohpowat securitat'

    what they dont know is I found a parking sign post AND a 'do not block driveway' where there is none, so Im going to put them together and have my own sign.

    this is atrocious. gestapo tactics.
