  1. We should archive this photo and ones similar to it. The building appears to be nice and clean and
    modern.
Let’s see what it is like in 5 years’ time.

  2. Socialists in western countries will probably assume this is a Black Friday pic.

  3. “Soon, there will be whole generations of children born on Venezuela’s line for milk/food.”
Socialism says wait quietly and ‘don’t have cow’ man…!

  4. Yes. Because anybody who advocates for universal healthcare, or affordable education wants their country to end up like Venezuela, and not some place like Canada or the Nordic nations.
    Reality. Try it. It’s delicious.

  5. No one wants their country to end up like Venezuela, but it is the inevitable result of redistributive economics and central planning.
Is Tommy Douglas still dead, btw?

  6. Let’s see what it is like in 5 hours time if you need to use the facilities and don’t want to give up your place in line.

  7. SDA shouldn’t post these pictures, it’s like poverty-porn for the Liberal Left and draws in to many Liberal one handed keyboard trolls.

  8. Toilet, U back? Lets see now, Kanada with the 29th best health care system ( according to that great lefty sh!t hole, the UN), but is the top, or almost the top, of the G8 nations!! Jonny, Venezuela has the largest know oil reserve in the world, and they can still EFF it up.

  9. John, I don’t what province you’re in but Ontario where I live will soon be bankrupt as medical costs will consume 80% of the budget by 2025. In June of last year I was told I have an appointment to see an orthopaedic surgeon on Nov 4th, 2014. A 17 month wait to have my shoulder examined and probably another 6 to 8 months for an operating room to be available, if I’m lucky.
Of the Nordic nations you refer to, the Swedes are moving away from the nanny state to a two-tier health system. The Swedes have cut government spending quite drastically over the past 15 years and their economy has improved but not enough to support universal government health care.

Norway is a special case because of its fossil fuel riches. Statoil is one of the biggest oil firms in the world and the Norwegian state owns 67% of it. Those profits have allowed the Norwegian governments of the past 30 years to spend money without borrowing or taxing too heavily and the sovereign wealth fund is over a half trillion dollars. My back of the envelope calculations are that over CDN$8 billion from Statoil go into the Norwegian state coffers every year and since the population is close to 5 million that would make $1,600 per citizen that the government can spend without taxing or borrowing it. That oil revenue is the only reason that Norway can be socialist and solvent.

  10. Reality. Try it. He said sarcastically to the photo showing the reality of Venezuela at the moment. Poor John.

  11. just wait until that nice looking mall starts to fall down and they are lined up in the streets.

  12. Today lining up for healthcare, tomorrow for food. Oh wait, I thought that was a picture of Americans lining up for free heath insurance.
