  1. Wasn’t there some talk of the need to add a “category 6” to the scale of how terrible things will become in west indies?
Never mind, I may have inadvertently read that at the BBC while checking out their F1 coverage.

  2. Yeah …. when it’s back to bcak storms … it is “climate change”. When it’s nothing to report …. then it is “baffling”.
BTW … did you see this tripe on health and nutrition at the link ?

  3. Boy, I’m sure glad George W isn’t in office.
There would be sooo many storms if he was still in the White House.

  4. Dear Mother Gaia
In case you didnt notice we can now control the very weather with junk science and political advocacy groups.. I dont mind telling you that your not being helpful by making it snow every time Al Gore shows up and this whole no hurricane,s for an entire month is insulting considering how much we have done for you..
With so many lips attached to your rear end and this is how you treat us..
Im recommending that you get sent out for sensitivity training to learn how to properly respect your betters..
I do hope that this dressing down is enough for you to reconsider your position on this matter.. Sensitivity training is the last resort and not our prefered course of action..
Moving forward all weather activities will be forwarded to the United nations IPCC with at least 1 years notice in advance of any major weather events..
In short, no surprises unless they are bad..

” I dont mind telling you that your not being”
that your should be you’re, and don’t should be don’t

  6. Not to worry people, it’s still Global Warming. It’s always global warming. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, no commercial interruption Global Warming.
You will note in the article it said temperatures from the Caribbean to Africa have been warmer than normal, reducing instability in the atmosphere. Except, of course, that they all previously said warmer surface temperatures were a recipe for more storms, not less. That’s what is so grand about having a nebulous bogeyman for which to demand sacrificial offerings, you can attribute even diametrically opposite results to it.
Now, back to the druids of the IPCC….

  7. Yeah well, the way I figure it about the Hurricanes….so far so good…but it ain’t over till it’s over…..
I suspect this is a manifestation/evidence of the cooling since 1998….Hurricanes are heat engines….no gas in the tank…..
