  1. Oh, I dunno, maybe because there would be dense crowds of targets and lots of cameras downloading the carnage onto the web live?
Is it any wonder that the lame-stream media are losing what little credibility they have?

  2. Rush talked about the Boston Bombing yesterday comparing them to Bill Ayers actions in the late 60’s.
The Boston bomber may very well be teaching at a U.S. university 40 years from now, just like Bill Ayers!
    Rush on Bill Ayers Bombing
If you didn’t hear it, it’s a good read.

  3. “It’s not yet known whether the perpetrator or perpetrators of the bombing, which killed three, chose April 15 for its associations with tax day or with Massachusetts’ Patriots’ Day, a commemoration of the first battles of the Revolutionary War.”

So Stephanie Pappas, LiveScience Senior Writer, has figured out who’s behind the bombings, just not the identities of the perps.
    Wow.

  4. Just wondering out loud, but wouldn’t a right wing government hater blow up… a government office? Wouldn’t a guy who hates the IRS blow up… the IRS?
And isn’t it obscene that the present course of media coverage and government policy may in 100 years end up making Timothy McVeigh look to history like a patriot who was just a little early?
Not to me, because I still remember them taking those babies out of the day-care. But guess whose face the OWS idiots wear to signify dissent? Guy Fawkes.

  5. The thing that bugs me the most about the ass hats of the left, is that after they try to politicize a disaster, and they get embarrassed by the backlash, they always urge other people “not to politicize it”. That really grinds my gears.

  6. I hate runners, maybe it was just a slightly more deranged vesion or me? I hate bike riders even more btw.

  7. Why would the Boston Marathon bomber choose the day of the Boston Marathon to bomb the Boston Marathon?
What are the odds? About as long as the odds of Lou Gehrig getting Lou Gehrig’s Disease.

  8. “Just wondering out loud, but wouldn’t a right wing government hater blow up… a government office? Wouldn’t a guy who hates the IRS blow up… the IRS?”
My thoughts exactly Phantom. If the terrorist were small Government/low tax supporter, what would they gain by killing spectators at a sporting event?

  9. Because it looks better on your c.v. than “Tried to bomb the Boston Marathon, but missed it by that much“.

  10. Kate nails it !!
Kate:”Why would the Boston Marathon bomber choose the day of the Boston Marathon to bomb the Boston Marathon?”
With one line Kate points out what is so wrong in the world today
A complicit media that is desperate to give credibility to to the fanatic leftist scum.
A media that is so full of hubris it is completely, completely! detached from reality.
A media that is so taken with itself it thinks it should be immune to being challenged by the commoners.
A media that thinks it is utterly free to lie and mislead because they are the media and they and only they know how the world should be run. If only we would just listen and obey. ce5t26

  11. I am going with “April”.
The obvious link is all the disgruntled, mad as a hell Warmunist Warmongers, sick of long cold winters that continue to be long and cold despite the resolute fear mongering and climate change hysteria they so truly thought would make winters short and war.
It all leads back to Al Gore, James Hansen, Michael Mann, David Suzuki, Lizzie May . . . and all the other Eco Greenie Fruit & Nutters out there.

  12. Runners, like cyclists tend to be intensely self-absorbed and totally oblivious to what’s going on around them. Once while driving to work at 6 AM in the dead of winter and turning at an intersection I almost ran down a runner dressed all in black. Verbal altercation ensued – ended in a draw.

  13. Just in the interest of accuracy, there is no evidence Bill Ayres had anything to do with the town house nail bomb. In fact, it was made by Theodore Gold, Diana Oughton, and Terry Robbins along with the two who survived the explosion.

  14. Notice how Obama keeps emphasizing a second point and now the media picks it up.
    Who did it? (well duh)
But Obama would emphasize, AND WHY.
Now why would he do that. Is it because his brilliance has decided, per Axelrod, that it is some Tea Party guy on an Anti Tax day.
Now you find the bingo callers on CNN are saying the same thing, why??? WHy would someone do that?
Ulm, to create terror. To kill Americans. ISnt that what the radical islamists have always said they wanted to do. Why would you assume they dont mean what they say.
That being said until someone is caught it could be anyone, but sure as heck is lining up with lots of signs pointing that direction. Of course loose change will come out soon and claim its CIA, that none of the victims really died and the footage is faked.
Or if it is clear that it is an Islamist then it will be tied back to some slight that America committed on this guy, or his family, or his religon etc etc.
    Obama will do nothing.

  15. “Why would the Boston Marathon bomber choose the day of the Boston Marathon to bomb the Boston Marathon?”
Could it just be the fact a famous run like that would be the most visible. Sure to cause terror, to spread anarchy? A ready made group of reporters on hand to make sure its published. The fact its innocents their after, not real professional soldiers. That the carnage would be horrifyingly plain to all.I do think it was home grown terror. Ask yourself though who would kill innocents besides Marxists or Islamics? Both of whom are loved by the Media , as well as the chief Muslim of America.
Who’s only allies he bows to.
No of course not , its tax day thats the fault.

  16. Heh heh, Alan- Now that’s funny! :D)
(usually the biggest joke around here is phil) :>(

  17. But the biggest mystery of all – why choose THAT PARTICULAR DAY to bomb the Boston Marathon???
Yes, odd they didn’t bomb the marathon the day before, or the day after. Or maybe two weeks after.
Our superiors are such clever people.

  18. Well, Kate, I lean towards it being Israel’s Independence Day.
As well, I could say Boston was chosen because the marathon attracts such a large crowd, or I could lean towards Boston’s important role in America’s war of independence.
