O, Sweet Saint Of San Andreas

KTLA;

The governor’s race includes a field of 61 candidates, with recent polling showing former California Attorney General and U.S. Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra, a Democrat, leading the field, followed by billionaire Tom Steyer, also a Democrat, and British-born Republican commentator Steve Hilton.

The Democratic field also includes San Jose Mayor Matt Mahan, former U.S. Rep. Katie Porter, and former L.A. Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa. Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco is the only other Republican in the race.

The Golden State’s “jungle primary” system places all candidates, regardless of political party, on the same ballot, but only the top two finishers advance to the general election.

California has not elected a Republican to statewide office since Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Insurance Commissioner Steve Poizner.

In the nonpartisan race for L.A. mayor, incumbent Karen Bass is challenged by Councilmember Nithya Raman, reality TV star Spencer Pratt, Rae Chen Huang, and Adam Miller. Recent polling shows Bass narrowly leading Raman and Pratt, who received the endorsement of President Trump.

The polls opened at 7am and close at 8.

  1. I wish him all success! It would be so great if this happens and there is NO cheating by the Democrats. People in California deserve better politicians.

    1. California has not elected a Republican to statewide office since Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and Insurance Commissioner Steve Poizner.

I have my sample ballot in hand, and will soon be voting IN-PERSON … as I always have since 1974 … but the chances of a SINGLE Republican getting elected to Statewide office is less than the COVID vaccine keeping you from transmitting the virus. It isn’t gonna happen. So our new State Insurance Commissioner will preside over ever greater rate increases and cancellations as have his (D) predecessors. Our State Superintendent of Public Education will kowtow ever more to the teachers UNIONS and LGBTQueers by forcing our schoolgirls to shower with pennisses in their face.

And Javier Blecccharra will flood the State with even MORE illegals, criminals, and welfare fraudsters … while simultaneously SUING President Trump another 50 times.

It’s SUPER lonely … to be one of the few SANE voters left in CA … but my votes have been crushed and offset by all the ‘newcomers’ and ‘dreamers’ who get automatically registered to vote when they get their drivers licenses … which they get … automatically.

      1. Maybe you guys can buy some more bridges from China after the election. I remember EXACTLY how Republican the Terminator was.

        1. BTW … among the 61 candidates for Gov. are …

          Barack D. Obama Shaw
          Party preference: Democratic
          Business Owner

          LIVINGFORGOD ANDCOUNTRY DEMOTT
          Party preference: None
          Logistical Professional/Chaplin

          Mohammad Arif
          Party preference: Democratic
          Immigrants Organizer

CA is nothing, if not entertaining

  2. I hate to say this, but I’m pretty sure the left is gonna Charlie Kirk this guy. Especially when he threatens to unseat an actual communist (Bass) already in power.

    1. Well … his ‘glamourous’ wife … is a practicing Christian. So yeah, his whole family is in the crosshairs of the depraved Dem’s.

  3. Pratt taking LA could be a neat instructional counterbalance to NYC under Madmandami. Blue city voters on both coasts will be able to compare and contrast. Could be fascinating to monitor, if you’re not sick to death of US politics as I am.

    1. His counterbalance will be dealt the same fate as Trump’s. Endless lawsuits and injunctions to STOP him from doing … well … ANYTHING. Lawfare, Lawfare, Lawfare. And then some more Lawfare.

  4. Perhaps Madmani can find a appointed position for Karen Bassackwards, where she can set whole neighborhoods of NYC on fire.

  5. Kenji’s vote will be cancelled by the 583 voters living at the single family home at 1234 Sepulveda street, who will all vote Democrat.

      1. One day the total number of Democrat votes cast will exceed the population of California.

And the media will see nothing wrong with this.

        1. Which will lead to demands for a census recount and the creation of 10 new Blue State Rep’s.

    1. To say Spencer Pratt has mastered and exploited AI to the full extent of its capabilities is an understatement. Which is all the PROOF anyone should need that he is capable to hit the Mayor’s job running … full speed ahead. He understands how to leverage technology to solve a complex problem … such as how to get a conservative elected to LA Mayor.
