While we’re deporting the murderers, rapists and pedophiles…we wouldn’t want to overlook those vicious Irish plasterers.
Originally from Glenmore, Co Kilkenny, he is married to a US citizen and owns a plastering business in the Boston area. He was arrested on September 9th, 2025, and has been in an Ice detention facility in Texas for nearly five months, despite having no criminal record, “not even a parking ticket”.
Culleton said he was carrying a Massachusetts driving licence and a valid work permit issued by the US government when he was pulled over by Ice on the way home from work in September.

So, he was in the US, illegally for 20 years. THEN, he decides to apply for a green card?
That’s not how their system works. The story does not provide any further, necessary, inconvenient details.
NO. ONE. IS. ABOVE. THE. LAW.
” His work permit was issued as part of an application for a green card which he initiated in April 2025.
Well, at least the article said the quiet part out loud.
20 years here illegally … then finds a sympathetic AWFUL woman in Boston (how hard would that be? SMH) in 2025 to initiate a sham wedding. FOREIGN married spouses have to apply for green cards … and have their marriage/relationship examined.
I have ZERO sympathy. PS … I can guarantee you I wouldn’t possibly be able to be a ILLEGAL plasterer in Canada for 20 years … I’d have my American ass tossed OUT of your country farrrrrrr sooner than that.
And, applying for a green card has to be done outside the USA.
A neighbour’s kid found that out when she tried to do everything in reverse.
As plainly provided in public CBP materials, it’s marry, apply, get approved then move to the USA.
Too many try to move, marry then apply. When ICE shows up to escort them out they cry’ “How can you be so mean to me?”
On “Border Security” the CBSA in Vancouver processed a Canadian who was kicked out of England after living there for 15 years. So, suck it up buttercup.
Oh, here’s another Canada story. A US woman legally living in Canada was kicked out. She had the misfortune of her husband being one of the dead in the Ocean Ranger disaster. She had no time to mourn and the Canadian government showed up at her door and escorted her back to the US.
I have zero f*cks to give for your Irishman illegally living in the US.
from article: “An Irishman living in the United States for more than 20 years”
WTF? 20 years+?
I guess they couldn’t find any Americans to do the plastering, eh?
Temporary work visa after temporary work visa, again and again for 20 years.
No wonder the MAGA people were against H1B visas.
He didn’t have to be in an Ice detention facility, he could have gone home in a few days, to Ireland.
pffft. being 1/4 irish (plenty enough) the only thing l can add about the irish and plaster is ya,
looking at my dad & 3 older brothers (who collectively blew thru $1/4 million 2026 prices on booze)
they do tend to get PLASTERED lol
The cynical comments here reflect the mood of the American electorate.
The objective of the article is not to inform the public, it is to slam ICE. People are not buying it.
“The objective of the article is not to inform the public, it is to slam ICE.”
Trump ran on it, ICE is making it happen. People voted for it, in a Landslide.
There is a new Sheriff in Town. The Rule of Law is Popular.
The thing I note is how FEW sympathetic stories the media deceptiCONS can come up with. 5yo boys being remigrated … cancer patients remigrated … really only a very few heart tugging poster-illegals. No, none of these stories can withstand the details of their cases … so they’re glossed over in favor of emotionalizing these AWFUL deportations.
Nope. We The People aren’t buying it.
As in the case of the “Canadian actress” who tried to slip over the U.S. border twice to visit L.A. without a work visa – a part conveniently left out by Canadian MSM. I’ll withhold judgement.
I’ll wager there’s a story behind the story aside from this guy applying for a green card after marrying his wicked smaht wife.
As political junkie says…this story is obviously anti ice.
During the Biden administration the strategy was so geared towards getting illegals into the country that illegal aliens already here had few obstacles to participating in almost anything in the US.
However, someone who lived as an illegal in the US for the last 20 years had to have committed many counts of document, identity, and/or insurance fraud during their first 15 years here just to survive.
But, but, but, he is not from Burkina Faso, India or any other desirable place.
That Ibrahim Traoré is a swell guy according to every Burkino Faso video i get recommended.
I thought “Upper Volta” was how you step on the gas in a Tesla?
I was reading on another site that a report from DHS recently published shows that of 440,000 deported so far, 14% were accused of serious crimes and another 30% less serious crimes (leaving out the fact that entering illegally is in itself a crime). That’s quite a high percentage but of course the ICE program is trying to remove the most serious criminal offenders as a priority. Some comments in the discussion mentioned that a big component of non-serious criminal offences could be plea bargains, and d.u.i. instances. There is reportedly a major outbreak of serious traffic accidents being caused by intoxicated or high on drugs illegal residents, particularly in the southwestern states. Apparently it is no big deal to drive drunk in central America, I suppose given the roads they have that might be an example of reverse cause and effect.
The liberal media still get away with discussing the removal of illegals as an “immigration” issue, which it is not. It was a mistake to use the phrase “illegal immigrant” over the past two or three decades. There is no such thing, these people are illegal migrants, they were never immigrants as that term is legally defined. The two leading ways of becoming an illegal migrant are (a) to sneak in across a border, or (b) to give false statements of intent during a legal entry. In other words, you say you intend to be a tourist and return to your legal residence in another country, but you just stick around and try to blend in. I don’t know what the proportions are for the United States, but in Canada I would imagine more people lie to border security than sneak in, that being relatively harder to do (but not impossible apparently).
If you change status from a work permit to a permanent residency, everything likely starts anew. I have read that some people who worked in the US under the old NAFTA rules applied for permanent residency and then got sent home. I have also read that many are successful in changing status. It might be that they like any new application for permanent status to come from outside the country. Doesn’t Paddy know that Ireland is so much wealthier than the US? Besides he’s white. He’s fkd.
I will reserve my precious outrage until the untold half of the story comes out. After the buzz dies down, and the story has been milked for all the emotional extortion that it is worth, we will likely learn that he regularly mowed down pedestrians in a potato and whiskey fueled rage, every Sunday.. for the thrill, sold poisoned milk to school children, an sold dope while disguised as a nun..
