  2. Managed to avoid any political talk at my Thanksgiving gathering today. Though sparks will certainly fly this Saturday when my Bolshevik niece from Brooklyn will be in town. She has an incurable case of TDS that she always feels compelled to display at any family function. She typically wastes no time starting *excrement* but then if you dare point out any flaws in her logic or maybe state that “I haven’t seen Democrats this mad since we freed their slaves” she starts tearing up. Honestly, these Bolsheviks will need to toughen up if they have any hope of winning a revolution.

    1. Dude, I heard that if you talk politics at Thanksgiving, you’ll save money on Christmas gifts.
      That said, I want to say that microwaves are evil. I have never owned one, and I feel way more normal than the drones around me. I kid….or maybe not.
      You can heat anything up slowly in a traditional oven,

      1. As a retired (36 years) ‘microwave’ guy, at that frequency the EM field will only penetrate about half an inch. Go ahead, try it on a roast…

      Your niece is living to see the revolution she thought she wanted. Its leader is Donald John Trump. May the rest of President Trump’s second term give her plenty that’s much more worth crying about than her uncle’s telling her what she doesn’t want to hear.

      The Democrats’ former slaves didn’t deal with their tormentors nearly as harshly as they might have. Shame on the Democrats’ current slaves if they let their masters off so lightly.

    3. No political talk at our gathering … but my terminally TDS affected sister in law wore a sour expression all afternoon and evening. Thankfully, she was the first to leave so we could all talk about her.

  3. Why wouldn’t it have been a wonderful Thanksgiving? For the first time in living memory, the United States now enjoy the wise, able rule of a gentleman who takes the side of the People of the United States against their enemies. If that’s not worth being thankful for, what could be?

  4. They really tried to sell microwaves as machines that could “cook” things for the first ten years. Then everyone realized how insanely grotesque that was and used it for reheating leftovers, melting cheese on nachos and popping popcorn.
    That was good enough.

      KNEW inadequately cooked fowl = salmonella. and let it pass anyway.
