  2. I consider myself more of a cultural Christian because I find church a bore. Also, I believe that a lot of the dogma is symbolic. I have a greater than average understanding of Christianity and believe in Cristian morality. I don’t believe in killing babies and I don’t covet my neighbor’s ass. The lady has no clue what Islam is.

  5. Actually she should fear for her life, because when “real” muslims see this video of her posing as a muslim, or,,, interrupt her, as a muslim not following the faith correctly,,, she likely have real muslims, perhaps from Indonesia, maybe the Philippines, maybe Australia, come pay her a visit.
    She just publicly blasphemed their faith.
    She might wake up some morning finding her head, butchered from her body.

  6. What is the difference between Muslim and Islam? I am confused, I thought being a Muslim meant following the tenets of Islam. Those who kill and terrorize in the name of Islam are not Muslim? What’s with their Allah Akbar cry? Are they followers of Allah, but not Mohamed? It’s totally confusing…it appears there’s a lot of confusion.

    Yet, all those dead people, all those tortured people who have first hand experience with islam, are never asked.

This young lady does a pathetic job of rationalizing her so-called submission to that pathology. She strikes me as a cult follower, the type who would possibly end up in Jonestown back in the day. Deep down she seems very shallow.

  16. Sadly … my own CHRISTIAN Children know the 5-pillars of Islam, because it was force-fed to them by our … oh-so-progressive … public middle school and high schools that instituted “special” Muslim units and even a “Muslim month” of instruction.
    For such a secular Muslim, I am surprised she feels ANY connection to her faith, or bothers to defend it. I dare say the average Hillary voter is MORE a Muslim than this “journalist” is …

  17. She grew up Muslim in Australia, parents are immigrants from Lebanon. Obviously the kind of Muslims who need to get out of Muslim countries to practise their “version” of the faith and she is quite outspoken about not letting the normal kind into Australia and kicking out those who are there – ban the burqua, government to vet preachers – so she’s authentically Muslim at least in the sense that people shouldn’t be allowed to stray from her version.

  19. the points made here give some insight as to why I CANNOT get a response from the local mosque as to WHY they let terrorists commaneer their faith to commit vilence all over the world on a near-daily basis. where is the outrage by the ‘peaceful’ muslims? hmmm?
    maybe I didnt get an answer because I suggested the ‘peaceful’ muslims are perfectly willing to let the violent ones do the dirty work and dying so THEY can continue to wedge themselves into the political and social network, ready for the coming world wide caliphate with THEM in charge.

After they reform and modernize their religion to elimate all the DEATH TO INFIDELS bits JIHAD and whatnot … we might let a few back into our countries … if they can contribute some special skills or intelligence. We have Mexicans to do the rest.
    Geeze … no wonder we have RIOTS and BURN THINGS to prevent Milo from speaking truth to power here in CA … he simply cannot be BEAT in a discussion of the FACTS. Hence … burn shit, hurt people, be violent in response. Or argue with him in a high volume, high pitch, whiney voice … while he calmly DESTROYS your feeble arguments.

  26. Cite where I said I did not like trump.
    Cruz was my first choice. Once trump won the nom I was fine with it – the will of the party needs to be respected. Trump has many flaws and a special kind of genius. Using vulgar terms arguably- and I am open to the argument that it will be beneficial in the long run – a bad idea. We shall see.
    But I am under no illusions that trump is a de rigeur Conservative- he most certainly isn’t.

  28. As pointed out above, she has basically taken a version of secular humanism, labelled it “Islam” and then claimed that she represents Islam. Milo is correctly pointing out that the crucial issue is not what the outliers such as herself represent but rather where the centre of the distribution curve lies with respect to those who identify as muslim throughout the world and what the resulting implications are for bringing those individuals into western societies en masse. A bunch of secular humanists calling themselves “muslim” is a pretty low level threat beyond potentially providing cover for the hard-cores. The importation of a population of hard-cores in which up to thirty percent or more see violent jihad as an acceptable means for imposing their ideology on the host society is a whole different level of threat that has to be taken very seriously.

    -when a purportedly ‘moderate Muslim’ wakes up one morning and decides to practice Islam as the vast majority of Muslims have practiced it for the last 1400 years.
    (or as their prophet Muhamad practiced it for the last 10 years of his life)

    To those who try to disassociate Islamic extremism from Islam, I always respond: “Not all Muslims are Islamic extremists. But all Islamic extremists are Muslims.”

    Allah (God) of course. Mohammed is their prophet i.e., divinely inspired but not himself a divinity.
