Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

You know you’re on the right path when you have to look up a word like matcha.
I had to.
Yeah, I be all like “What the hell is Matcha?”
I find his terms acceptable. Coffee is for people with no palate.
My favorite thing about matcha (which I’m ashamed to say I’m familiar with) is that the Left, while making is a trendy drink of choice for their ilk simultaneously exclaims that matcha in the US is cultural appropriation of the Japanese.
The Japanese “culturally appropriated” it from the Chinese. Who made it illegal back in the 1300’s. They always miss that fact. Retards will retard.
‘cultural appropriation’ reminds me of the response when non-hispanic wimmin opted for the huge hooped earrings.
and got accused of ‘c.a.’.
but then l questioned this, did the hispanic community STEAL the fashion accessory from some other culture in the mists of time? can spics PROVE they were the VERY FIRST???
how is that possible? are they objecting to ‘appropriation’ of something THEY appropriated from gawd knows where? an egyptian hieroglyphic perhaps? from something one of them saw on the ear of a viking woman eons ago and it ‘took off’?? HOW can it POSSIBLY be PROVEN hispanics were the FIRST or did *they* appropriate it in turn and are now engaged in falsehoods and rumour? hmmmm?????
naturally the Q went NOWHERE
The absolute best cultural appropriation is NOSE RINGS. You can find historical references to nose rings going back centuries. Primarily, they were put on slaves as a form of control and marking. BUT, that’s not the best part. Nose rings transcend the slave trade and go back to their use on herd animals. Cows, goats what have you, all are very sensitive in the nose area, so they were given nose rings for control and discipline. They’re still used today.
So as these pierced faced kids run around with their nose rings, they are likely not aware that they are displaying their subservience and (dare I say it) a herd mentality. What they deem a unique trendy look, is in fact cultural appropriation from the slave trade and before that, the livestock trade. Wearing one presents a message opposite to the one they wish to display.
Powdery Japanese tea…supposed to be good for you. It’s definitely…medicinal.
If you ban matcha, how will people light their cigarettes?
All together now: “Matcha, matcha, man! I want to be a matcha man!”:

I had never heard of Matcha until seeing this SDA post.
