  1. None of this surprises or shocks me. To be honest this is small beer compared to the disaster that us and Canada trucking is becoming. People getting cdls is just the tip of the iceberg.
    Cargo theft and the use of fake elogs as well as pop up trucking companies that drive on the highway.
    Fake elogs where you have no idea who is collecting the data. China and Russia could have real time data on truck transportation in North America. Seeing where a lot of cargo goes real time. It is an absolute disaster in the making. Governments do not give one godamn.

  2. In Alberta, a translator from their ethnic community gets to sit right beside them and tell them the answers.
    This has been so since the ’90s.

    1. why ask? le reponse est évident l’argent aka CASH and lots of it once they got that ‘ticket’ all up and down chain of command, legal cystem, social ladder, truck stop. did l leave anyone out?

    2. The point of the test is so that the officials have a job. That was the point when everyone still spoke English. Now it’s only a little more ridiculous.

  3. Do they even have to do this in Canada? Don’t they just turn in their shithole driver’s licence for a Canadian one?

    1. Here they just buy them. $4,500 for everything, according to the CBC in one of the only decent pieces of journalism they’ve managed in 10 years. No semblance of actual legal oversight, just raw corruption.

  4. Driving on the highway on the weekend, and of course a semi went across 3 lanes cutting off a lot of drivers, because the driver couldn’t read some signs
