I hear that Officer Charlene Abella is not getting paid by the Ottawa Police Service being charged with 6 criminal code offences relating to sexual abuse of a child.
This is an improvement over the case of Staff Sgt. WEIlliam Hinterberger who received $428,274 while out on bail for the 15 charges against him relating to sexual assault and other crimes, until he pled out to 6 of the charges and quit. For some reason he got six months of house arrest and three months of curfew for those 6 charges.
