  3. Only path to a Conservative government is through a strong NDP. Hope I’m wrong but….Western Canada should fund NDP and strongly support and fund Quebec separatists as well. It is in their best interests.

  6. We all know why he pulled those recent stunts and he’ll be well-paid for it, too.

    My own MP, the notorious Dipper Heather McPherson, issued her latest brochure recently. The slogan was “Help keep the Conservatives out of Edmonton Strathcona”. If the election hadn’t been called, and she held out until October (remember that bit of sleight of hand by the Potato), she, too, would have qualified for her pension.

    I’m sure the reason for her concerns about the Conservatives isn’t ideological. She probably smells the pension money as well and, if she wins next week (which, I fear, she probably will), she’ll be crying all the way to the bank.

        I vaguely recall McPherson’s predecessor, Linda Duncan (also a Dipper), ran for office, stayed for 2 terms, and then quit or retired.

  7. Dogmeat Singh supported Trudeau who was at about 25% in the polls because he had to serve to February 25 to vest his pension. He was tarred with the same taint as Trudeau. He has been less than useless. Hope he is gone.

  8. What a fool! If he had forced an election last October, chances are he’d be Leader of the Official Opposition right now, and compared with Jack Layton. Instead, he’s circling the drain into the cesspool, and dragging the entire Party in with him.

    1. Why should he care? He’s qualified for his pension and that was all that mattered.

    2. Not only Leader of the Official Opposition, he’d be in line for a substantially bigger pension too!

And he torched the NDP doing it too, that’s the good part. He scammed the original scammers. And he did that in the middle of a shitstorm too. One of the greatest sleazeball of Canadian politics, and that’s saying something nowadays.

  12. Had he spent the whole election attacking the liberals for their corruption, he probably wouldn’t be in the position he’s in. Instead he decided to support the liberals in their attacks on the cons, which just bled support to the liberals (why buy the cheap knock off, when you can get the original).

    I’m pretty sure even Mulclair think’s Jagmeet is stupid.
