In a war that few are talking about at the moment, it seems that things are not looking good for the Ukraine.

Then, while he was defending a ruined building, a panel fell on his shoulder. After receiving injections to reduce the pain, he was told to return to the front. “I realised I’m nobody. Just a number,” he said.

In May that same year, Viktor left his position to seek further medical treatment. He did not come back. His commander marked him down as awol.     It’s a bit sad that Donald Trump has chosen to put this on the back burner for now, but he did at least cut the money off first. The Russians, predictably, are making a last-ditch push to seize as much territory as they can before negotiations begin…I feel badly for all the Ukrainians who will die in the next few days or weeks. But as the article says, more and more of them have come to their senses now and are refusing to throw their lives away *for nothing*.

        My use was, of course, referring a “last ditch effort” before the *ceasefire* comes into effect, meaning grab as much more land as he can get before he is obligated to stop (need I explain why?).

            Ukraine is holding off the subhuman Siberian horde for a third year. This was supposed to be a three day (ok none believed that but very brief) operation that would result in complete subjugation of Ukraine and a reworked “sphere of influence” map of Europe (Pootin’s demands from late 21 and early 22). None of those demands are realized. The war is an complete geopolitical disaster for russia, it is an economic ruin for russia and you demand to know when Ukraine wins?

            Also every time you say “Ukrainian Nazis” or rant your trap about CIA this or that you demonstrate your laziness. That’s pathetic. You’re slandering people who defend their country from the most vile and subhuman horde.

            There is talk now about Ukraine being so fractured after losing all the territory that the Russians *are going to keep* (sorry, Jessica) that it may actually cease to exist as a viable nation, instead being divided up by Poland, Belarus, etc. There is also a rumor that the Russians may demand Odessa back as a condition for any lasting peace agreement.

      Yup…at least twice now. But alas…there was far too much money to be made by huge corporations by supplying Ukraine with weaponry they didn’t have the manpower or training to use while selling replacements to the gullible nations who thought that A) Ukraine could actually use the donated arms to good effect against the Russians and B) that all the weapons they sent would in fact make it to the battlefield, rather than be diverted to the black market. Same thing with the financial aid…how much of it really made it into the proper hands?
