How it started.
UK Research and Development- The story behind the Oxford-AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine success
New York Times- How the Oxford-AstraZeneca Vaccine Works
CTV- First shipment of AstraZeneca vaccine arrives amid confusion over its use for seniors
Sharma says seniors shouldn’t wait for a Pfizer or Moderna shot if they can get an AstraZeneca jab sooner. Real-world evidence, she says, shows the AstraZeneca vaccine is effective at preventing serious cases of COVID-19, hospitalizations and deaths.
How its going.
Western Standard- AstraZeneca withdraws COVID vaccine worldwide

All of them are crap.
Yeah but KillerM will come here in a jiffy and dismiss everything, saying that there’s no credible evidence that AstraZeneca (+ the others no pb) was even a tiinyy bit double-plus-ungood.
They were all the best things that could happen to mankind (oops, peoplekind sorry) since Penicillin! 🙂
RoboRodent is kind of amusing, actually, and informative in terms of the bullying rhetorical tactics they employ.
Indeed. Dead Rat suffers from a terminal case of credentialism.
Unless his government masters acknowledge it, it doesn’t exist.
Hope it’s got all 8 recommended jabs, like a good PMO troll should have.
“RoboRodent is kind of amusing, actually, and informative in terms of the bullying rhetorical tactics they employ.”
The irony is that he’s not stupid at all, as evidenced by the quality of his posts….just (seemingly?) misguided. I kinda like KM when he is talking about other things (unlike Allan S, whom I don’t care for at any time)..
Nah, the studies it cites are anywhere from 18 months to 3 years old. Useless garbage.
No, he’s not a bad guy. It’s just that when he gets on his high horse, he gets so inflated with his own self-righteousness that I can’t help taking a poke at him.
Simply put, I don’t trust the medical industry to properly use the word “rare.”
I always respond “define rare.” I expect a number back like 1/800 for myocarditis in teenagers based on the Korean study. You know facts, not rhetoric.
I’d clarify further in the fact that one could argue that there is a purposeful effort not to quantify the statistics. I’ll give you an example:
Back when they were pushing Covid as the worst thing since the plague, they played around with comorbidity on death certificates such that you could be a 105 year old suffering from stage 4 cancer with advance heart disease and emphysema and pass away. If you tested positive for Covid or (were assumed to have tested positive)….they could “legally” list Covid as the cause of death. My point being that even the “define rare” isn’t enough. If they aren’t looking for it, they aren’t going to find it.
The 2021 report from Gov Alberta indicated that 90% of Covid-19 deaths had 2 or more pre-existing conditions.
84% of deaths had hypertension
53% of deaths had cardiovascular disease
51% of deaths had renal disease (kidney)
45% of deaths had diabetes
44% of deaths had dementia
41% of deaths had respiratory disease
24% of deaths had cancer
20% of deaths had stroke
4% of deaths had liver disease
3% of deaths had immuno-deficiency
You can easily say that the majority of hypertension cases and diabetes were likely obese. Covid went badly for fat people. Life goes badly for fat people.
The list provided would have been the listed cause of death pre-2020. What’s this coronavirus thing?, and presto you have a worldwide ‘pandemic’.
When do the lawsuits start, including against the government for improperly giving immunity to the manufacturers?
“THALIDOMIDE IN THE MARKETPLACE”
“Around the world, more and more pharmaceutical companies started to produce and market the compound under license from Chemie Grünenthal. By the mid-1950s, 14 pharmaceutical companies were marketing thalidomide in 46 countries under at least 37 different trade names.
In 1958, thalidomide was produced in the United Kingdom by The Distillers Company (Biochemicals) Ltd, under the brand names Distaval, Tensival, Valgraine and Asmaval. Their advertisement claimed that
Distaval can be given with complete safety to pregnant women and nursing mothers without adverse effect on mother or child.”

When I was about 30 I was sitting in my regular bar on north Albert St. Regina Sk and in walked Alvin Law, who ordered a beer from my friend Dan the bartender.
Alvin slipped his shoe off, took a bill out with his toes, and placed it on the bar with his shoe, bartender Dan made the change and Alvin requested he simply put it in his shoe, which he then took from the bar and placed it on his foot again, he held the beer bottle in his mouth and walked away to meet his friends at a nearby table.
For a few years Alvin had been a DJ at one of Regina’s more successful radio stations, placing the records on the turntable, queuing up the next song, make the announcements, and never with a slip…
Alvin has no real arms as a result of thalidomide, and continues to give motivational speeches…. I’ll post the link to his page below this comment…
Chemie Grunenthal settled their court cases out of court, and continues as a privately held pharmaceutical company to this day.
I was born in 1960, in the middle of the years in which thalidomide was given out to moms in Canada. It was approved by the gov’t of Canada as being “safe and effective”.

The Astra Zeneca vaccine has announced its early retirement after a successful career reducing the pension liabilities of several major countries in the West.
So where’s the rodent leaping up to defend AstraZeneca? Or maybe he only works for Pfizer.
The Western Standard does a poor job of giving the background to this story. They make it sound like this is some new revelation.
In 2021, soon after rollout, the Oxford-AstraZeneca vaccine was discovered to (very rarely) produce blood clots in people under the age of 55.
https://www.nytimes.com/2021/04/10/health/astrazeneca-vaccine-blood-clots.html
It’s use for that age bracket was halted in many places, including Canada, soon after, and the vaccine was abandoned completely in many countries later in 2021.
I’m surprized that it was still being sold. Even if the authorities were careful to not administer it the drug to those under 55, the vaccine didn’t have the best reputation.
Define “very rarely” and don’t forget to include underreporting rates for whatever place/manner you get the data from. And while you’re at it, how about a proper risk/benefit calculation.
Waiting on Killer Marmot to give his standard, “it’s impossible for governments to hide statistics” speech…..then we all can break into a verse of:
“Hide the Decline” in rebuttal.
I don’t actually take orders from you, nor did you say “please.”
But I’m feeling charitable. Here’s a paper that studied that…

Justin
The unDORK idiot needs to servey morticians.
Lots of string clots in stiffs.
Wanna know why John Campbell stopped making videos describing mysterious clots in dead people? Because pathologists and morticians were laughing themselves sick, as these clots had been known about for many decades.

Okay, I think my first link was to a golf video. This one’s definitely the right video:
https://youtu.be/H6qO6x56aTc?t=0
Could have been worse than golf. Could have been a giant rat willy. Count yourself lucky.
Wasn’t even a good golf video. Just more “do this and you’ll never hit a bad shot again” nonsense.
Could have been a giant rat willy
You don’t say!
It doesn’t matter what the studies do or don’t say, because the source data is so hopelessly corrupted at this point that it’s useless.
“Define “very rarely” and don’t forget to include underreporting rates for whatever place/manner you get the data from. And while you’re at it, how about a proper risk/benefit calculation.”
No, no…just give us more of this:
“The vaccine stops contraction/transmission of Covid-19…okay, it doesn’t, but this is totally normal!”
“There are no ‘excess deaths’…okay, there are, but they are totally normal!”
“There are no ‘unusual blood clots’…okay, there are, but they are totally normal!”
(rinse and repeat)
“extremely rare”. Usually when I hear that word I think welp no chance anyone I know has gotten TTS. Except I know two people.
New York Times reports an additional risk beyond blood clots, that being heart attacks in young women. But we know NYT is a vax apologist. The chance of a heart attack appears to be 1/2 the risk of dying from COVID by their calculations. Doesn’t say it they are including 1:42 VAERS under reporting rate (https://www.nytimes.com/2023/03/29/health/covid-vaccine-astra-zeneca-women-heart-risk.html)
The REAL reason it is being withdrawn? The government is no longer paying $Billions for the pleasure of pushing deadly side effects … No $$$? No vaccine.
Kinda like electric car subsidies.
I posted a link to one of John Campbell’s podcasts featuring a Dr. Sultan a few days ago which featured a rather graphic operation of removal of a long elastic-like blood clot from a patients carotid artery, strangely it has been removed from U-Tube. One of the reasons I posted it was because a close friend just had the same operation performed here in BC. Now today I just learned that another friend may have to undergo the same surgery, stange indeed.
Will enough people ever see the truth and take action against those who have committed such a massive crime against humanity?
