The Justice Centre for Constitutional Freedoms announces the launch of a constitutional challenge in Quebec’s Superior Court against the Ministry of Education. This action is brought on behalf of a teacher who refused to lie to the parents of a 14-year-old student seeking a female-to-male gender transition, as her school administration had ordered her to do.
Following directives in the Education Minister’s Guide and Procedures on trans and non-binary persons’ gender identity, the student’s Montreal high school created a set of procedures to make it illegal to inform parents (or guardians) when their child seeks a gender transition.

Ben Levin, and he served his 3-year sentence, so he’s out now. What gets me is how any government in their collective wisdom (/sarc) can engage a convicted pedophile as it’s minister of education, or in Levin’s case, deputy-minister.
Wynne claimed that Levin had nothing to do with Ontario’s curriculum. That isn’t the point. Levin should have nothing at all to do with education. A basic security check should have prevented this from happening.

This idea that the teachers would be “outing” the student to the parents is absurd. What do they think is going to happen? The student is telling the entire school that they are the opposite gender now, but somehow informing the parents is “outing” them prematurely? Of course not. And don’t even get me started on allowing teachers to have secret agreements involving sexuality with their students. That’s criminal as far as I am concerned.

If said child commits suicide because of the school secretly transitioning the child who’s held responsible –the government or the teachers ordered to hide the transition? I am sick of all level of governments playing make believe but I have zero faith in our just-us system fixing this kind of negation of parental rights.
