Police are on the lookout for a large group of hyperactive children with chocolatey breath.

These stories are not remotely related.
The first involves the theft of cargo. A crime that is becoming commonplace as it involves hooking onto a trailer, driving away and then selling the contents. It’s organized crime.
The syrup disappearance was entirely a different matter. It involved a marketing board, conversion, lies, deception. A ‘quebek’ style of crime if you know what I mean.

Well maybe, maybe not. But stealing chocolate or syrup has to be the lowest form of criminality. There are real victims affected. When such theft occurs the price of the product sky rockets. Then we end up with plain pancakes and chocolate chip cookies without the chocolate chips.
No one deserves to be subjected to that. This is a human rights complaint if there ever was one.

Well that surely will be a “Kinder Surprise”!
We’ll see if the German authorities have any better luck in arresting the sweet little thieves; than the hands off approach given to terrorists at the wheel.

All joking aside … I am fairly certain that this entire load of Nutella is headed SOUTH … to Venezuela. No doubt the ONLY place on earth where you can SELL all of this semi-sweet load for top dollar – FAST! Hint: I would NOT take any “Venezuelan Bolivars” … just US dollars.
