Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

I understand permitting is h*ll. Unless you are illegal, in which case no one bothers you from the state.
I have more stories to tell about the TRUTH of your statement than you can imagine.
Probably took him less time than the Eglinton LRT
I have family in Fresno, and they took me to see it. Very interesting. The man had a natural talent for engineering. Fresno can get a lot of rain when those “atmospheric rivers” happen in their winter, so all the floors have a slight slope to them to allow for rainwater runoff. Family members say there was probably another 10 acres of tunnels that were lost when the highway was built. It was a haunt for the local kids to go and hang out, until someone decided it needed to be preserved and protected.
Imagine digging irrigation ditches all day for a living and then coming home to spend your evening digging out a 20-acre underground house.
An interesting site to visit. This presentation is badly marred by up-talking. I lasted through about 7 min., where this annoying affectation began to subside. I was curious to know where the water was channeled, noticed the length remaining, and then heard the comment that he always had fruit on his table.
He could of just moved.
(Would of lost that sweet ditch digging job though…..)
