1. Ownership salaries and “business” expenses will be structured so we never make a profit.

2. Does anyone believe that the loan is going to be repaid in full + interest?
   If you look at the history of government loans, it can be said that eventually it will be ‘forgiven’.
   Are there any wind farms that are actually making profit, or the payback is non combustion of fossil fuels, in which case we are talking scam.

3. When they announced it, they claimed it was a loan at below market rates. The never answered if the below market rate was less than 8% the average business is paying right now, or less than the 1.86% that Canadian government is paying on some of their long term bonds.

   Either way, the government is paying out more in interest than it will ever collect from a Wind Farm that will never make a “profit”.

I always thought you made the money after building out with the loaned money and running your operation to make a profit, paying the loan back out of profits. 15. I drove a really long stretch of I 40 today from Flagstaff, AZ to Amarillo, TX … where I am writing from. In Eastern NM and Western TX … I 40 is engulfed in thousands of giant propellers … blighting the starkly beautiful desert landscape.

    But as I am driving for miles and miles of this unrelenting blight … I noticed a funny thing MOST of the propellers weren’t spinning. Nada. Some were … but most weren’t. And yes there was plenty of wind, as someone towing a trailer is keenly aware.

    So I started doing a rough count … and I’d estimate that no more than 10% of the propellers were spinning.

    Then I go onto USGS for their interactive map showing the ownership of these thousands of propeller clusters. And shock! They’re not all owned by one entity … but by dozens of entities .,, who probably all got PAID to build them + PAID subsidies … and now they sit idle.

    So Watts Up With That? Is someone putting the brakes on the propellers when their generation power isn’t needed? I find that hard to believe since this is all FREE electricity… Right?

    More like our CA wind towers that sit idle … because some Dem. crony has mined all the $cash out of the propellers… and now it doesn’t pay to keep them running
