At the organization I work for in BC, a line has been added (very recently) to several internal documents urging the use of culturally safe practices respectful of indigenous sovereignty over their data and governance. I deal with a lot of data which I’m required ethically and legally to keep confidential. That line isn’t required. That line is there for cognitive and behavioral control. Just like the video from Belgium demonstrates can be achieved (the Jesus vs Moe image destruction), from another post.
