  1. Betrayed? I feel betrayed too and I am a boomer. The floor crossings make me feel that my vote doesn’t count. Given that the Liberals will be in power forever I will never vote federally again. I do not want to be seen as being a participant in a corrupt system – and the Canadian parliamentary system is as corrupt as they come.

(numbers arer trustworthy, politishuns NEVER are, theres a ‘sweet spot’ in getting what you want out of them and not giving them too much power, the ones running things now provide crumbs and are bent on destroying everything else right under your
      blinded-by-propaganda noses)

  2. Its the sht for the ones that work hard.
    I don’t lose much sleep for the wastes of skin. At one time If parents didn’t do the work , schools did and if that didn’t take life instilled the lessons , not any more. Just the way the progs like it.
    Thought my kids might have made it to fifty before the country started falling out from under them I was twenty years off. They and those under them that worked as hard , and struggled are betrayed for sure , you almost think the good ones would have a protest at their provincial capitals , and pay a visit to Ottawa.
    Probably to busy working , and the Marxists will be the only ones with the time.

    1. I agree to a certain extent with this posting but based on my own personal observations of working with “poor people” – it is always someone else’s fault that they are NOT getting ahead. Most of them have only Grade 10 education, they smoke regular and cannabis cigarettes, they buy at least one Starbucks’ coffee a day, they eat crap for lunch, drink a lot of beer and have tattoos and for the women, fake fingernails. Not only are they ruining their health with the cigarettes, booze and high calorie coffees, but they are wasting their money instead of saving it.
      My sister was a credential evaluator. One of the studies which she worked on for the federal government was about poverty among adult women. The biggest factor was lack of education, then getting pregnant out of wedlock before age 20 and then having numerous “baby daddies”. These 3 factors reflect a lack of self-respect and as time goes on, their sense of victimhood increases.

      1. You do realise , educated kids that apply for jobs where I work are offered 300 if they are hired and 700 hundred at the end of the season as a bonus, if they show up regularly and don’t take holidays.
        Because there is some labour involved .
        Education isn’t what it once was…….
        The drive to pay your own way, and pull your head out of your as– eventually starts at home, or used to anyway, public school was a help on that front too at one time as well.
        Very few kids are finding someone and giving life a good kick at the can.

    If our “elected leaders” had really wanted to cripple our economy and drive out all citizenry with any get up and go..
    What would they have done differently?
    Government is the thief.
    Government is the drug pusher.
    Government is the pimp.
    And with MAID and “emergency measures’ government is the thug and killer.

      more proof Elon is a *vastly different kind* of multi-billionaire. aka mr ‘they can go kcuf themselves’ when asked why he refuses ad revenue from orgnizations he fundamentally disagree with.
      also in general terms, the very *existence* of billionaires PROVES free enterprise has the *capability and capacity* to generate wealth out of seemingly nothing sometimes. brand new innovations, good or bad, but nevertheless every time generating employment for 10s of thouands.
      right? hmmm? all that money Elon has, well, how much did he have to pay out in the process of gernerating the grand sum total? not even *just* gross profits, but ALL the money spent elsewhere that creates that beautiful reverberation into nooks and cranies eveywhere.
      not with socialism where ALL tranactions are state managed and as such always turns into a slow crawl (have to grease the palms too, that takes additional time)
      the inequity of it all? related but SEPARATE issue.
