Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

Cabin.
Heh!
It’s a beauty! Great video, too.
$8 M home in Palo Alto. Your value may be somewhat less in a deserted corner of SK.
That, right there, makes me want to live in the Qu’Appelle Valley, even though I couldn’t live that well.
Hell, I’d settle for a modest home in Maple Creek right now.
I have seen and lived in Canada, across a number of provinces.
I will say this,
Many places are ‘showy’ and post card.
Saskatchewan is subtle and understated.
I like Maple Creek, maybe even more than the Okanagan, where I now love to live, but that may change, depending on how stuff unrolls in these uncertain times.
Cypress Hills may become a watershed moment in my dotage.
Could be better than what BC is doing, eh, wot?
Scuse the ramble…in my cups…in vino veritas and all that rot.
Cypress Hills is a hidden gem on the Prairies for sure! Weather in your region much more temperate, unlike your politicians.
I like it.
100 miles doesn’t seem that far away to move a cabin. Not cold enough for them? Indians take their land? Neighbors too close?
It’s like 125 miles, which is probably less than when you buy a mobile home from Indiana and it gets trucked in.
I just think it’s funny how this huge house is considered a cabin.
I’ve always found the Qu’Appelle Valley quite scenic.
Peterbilt, on its own.
Really amazing.
A thing of beauty. Who owns that and can we join them in the ending with a shot of scotch?
It’s turtles all the way down.
I expect that move cost more than I paid for my house.
