3. Once upon a time, CNN was the nonpartisan news broker between partisan opinionators MSNBC (MS Now) and Fox News. This made them highly watchable for many people.

   Then it tried to become an MSNBC look-alike. It was a disaster. CNN is now trying to tack back to a non-partisan news outlet, but it’s going slow. Not only will viewers not soon forgive or forget its partisanship, it’s own employees resist the change. It’s probably hard to find journalists these days who know what objective journalism means.

      2. They increased their partisan opinionating about 20 years ago, and went full-bore Democrat supporters about 15 years ago to compete with MSNBC. Before then they had some political columnists, but it was mostly straight news.
