2. Sure the lawyer should get sanctioned,but this is Ottawa.
   As we learned when following “Restore CSA”.
   Ontario Law will select a Judge ,with the same ethics as the lawyer,probably from the same law firm.
   Cause this case is important to Ottawa.

3. My question has always been, “how did the plaintiffs determine there was $290 million suffered in damages?”
   In that this alone didn’t get it tossed right away is disturbing.

   1. They originally asked for over $1 billion

4. Either Paul Champ has very deep pockets which would allow him to pursue this frivolous lawsuit or some other parties are paying his fees.

5. Elections Canada political contributions page shows that Paul Champ has donated to the federal New Democratic Party, in multi-hundred amounts, during the 2000s and 2010s. But in 2021 he gave $1,000 to the Ottawa Centre Liberal Association. The man gets around.
