      I voted for this … 3x. I LOVE the Trump Admin. I truly detest every feckless, “true conservative”, RINO, who ever folded their legs like Gavin Newsom when it came to working in the interest of the American people.

If Alberta and/or Saskatchewan become an independent nation, they absolutely must make it a foundational principle that the government is not allowed to join these types of international organizations. International organizations and agreements always lead to less freedom for citizens. While they’re at it, make foreign aid illegal as well because it is just a front for money laundering.

    2. The way the rules are set up for the US that would be the end of the country. Overall, it would be adding another California to a two party system country where most national elections are won by less than a 10% margin.

      The Dems would never lose again, and the US would just turn into Canada.

        That’s it, for sure. Then where would we be? The leftists are loathe to admit that the US keeps us safe from others like the Russians and the Chinese, since we have no defensive capability to speak of. We also don’t need to spend much money on our military for the same reason…we have been freeloading off the Americans for a long time now while simultaneously bragging that the rest of the world loves Canada. If the USA goes down we will see just how much they really ‘love’ us.

  12. It would be interesting to see an accurate and honest appraisal of the good, the bad, and the just plain useless things that the UN does. What deserves salvaging, and what should be turfed? If we just kept the good stuff, I suspect that we’d have a far smaller organization.

      The UN abandoned anything “good” in its original mandate, likely around 1960.
      Leslyn Lewis put forward a petition to leave the UN entirely, which every self respecting sovereign nation state with Western values should do.
      Of course, like all petitions, it was ignored despite many signatories.
      In short, the UN is not worth shite. It is an unelected entity with a rainbow ring of 2030 goals that are detrimental to the survival of tenuous western and other sovereign nation states.
      Nothing deserves salvaging except sovereign nations.
