Saskatchewan saw zero wind power for 17 hours over two days.
Hilariously, a Saskatchewan doctor commented on Facebook re this story, “Are you able to share the data for a day where we had good wind production too, for comparison sake?”
I responded, “Doctor, when you look at a patient, do you say, “Let’s look at a day when he’s breathing, because on this day for 12 hours he wasn’t breathing?”
“You don’t judge critical systems by their good days, but their worst. You of all people should know that.”

As Doomberg says: “Energy is life. Making energy expensive means you don’t get to have nice things”. Canada is blessed with a WEFer PM whose creds include central bankster and climate hustler and now heads up the fascist criminal enterprise of the state. The EU is his model and he must advance his agenda soon before the EU disintegrates or breaks out in civil war as likely will the UK.

He’d likely tell you that he once knew a fantastic physician who saved and helped countless lives throughout his career but there was this one time he blew a call that cost a man his life.
Without fail… guess what always gets mentioned when the doctor’s name comes up?
Better to ask him if he’d ever recommend one of his patients on a home dialysis machine to swing over to wind power for a week or two.
And here I thought you were making the joke about Trump announcing that breathing is a really good thing. If he ever did that, suddenly Leftists the world over would suffocate.
Reliable baseload power and reliable, dispatchable backup/peak load plants are the most important part of a reliable electricity grid (plus a small amount of imports). Everything else is politics, virtue signaling and vanity projects. Saskatchewan Power did not need wind and solar power for before the 1990s and we don’t need it now. It’s expensive, unreliable and unnecessary. The sooner the green power nonsense stops, the better.
