  1. It isn’t that men take more risk; instead, they take a longer view. Avoiding all risk is impossible – taking a calculated risk is the better path.
Have you ever followed someone onto a freeway who is doing substantially slower than the traffic. I am sure they believe they are doing the less risky thing.

  2. Wow … that Google infographic is amazingly good. Why … a total idiot slacker could create coherent presentations that would get him a huge bonus and promotion. No Robert, I’m not suggesting you’re anything approaching a slacker.

Does Google allow you to edit the info bubbles … in case you don’t agree with their summary? I would insist on that kind of user control.

  3. In the past, people were not truly miserable.

They may have been sore or tired from working hard, but they weren’t miserable. If you put in an honest days work, you might feel it a bit, but you take satisfaction in it.

  4. Hahahaha … today I get criticized for posting an Elvis Costello song that encapsulates the the entire Epstein lifestyle mess … and here … at the very end of the interview … Adam Carolla is explaining about how he asked a dinnermate if he wanted to split a potato (the size of a rugby union ball) … and he tosses in the line … “I’ve got a rollerskate, you’ve got a key”.

That, my friend, is the exact reason why I share culturally important music from my (and all succeeding) generations. Because there is a message in there … about LIFE … about shared human experiences.

Damn I love Carolla … who lives/has lived in the blue collar world as well as the white collar world. And he speaks truth as a matter-of-fact pragmatic way of life. Who else is like this? Victor Davis Hansen … a farmer in Fresno, and a professor at Stanford University.

    1. Sorry … I can’t play a Melanie Safaka song without also playing her seminal song Lay Down
Again … sorry … but I’m in LOVE with the young 1960’s hippie girl, Melanie. Sorry … but we were a BEAUTIFUL generation of free thinkers, free lovers, and didn’t need 9-inch nails or tattoos to express our beauty.

Yeah … I zeroed-in on a seemingly throw-away Carolla comment that has much more depth and relevance than the Google AI was able to Grok.

    2. Only Kenji would claim that Melanie’s Brand New Key is culturally important (what a laugh) and that Elvis Costello’s Man Out of Time encapsulates “the the entire Epstein lifestyle mess”.

      Ohhhhhhhhhh mommaaaaamia, vaya estupido. Hahahahahahahahar.
