As much as I enjoy reading, from fiction to history, and enjoy well-written movies and shows, I don’t GAF what color, etc. the writer(s) are.
I wouldn’t cross the street to give an intellectual the steam of my piss.
Frankly, white tool users everywhere should refrain from working for liberals of all colors and orientations.
Let them live in a broken, filthy, crime-ridden world.
At the very least, its what they deserve.
Interesting read. Hard to argue against what he says. I’ve seen it personally in a couple of fields. We’re clearly seeing the effects, in this particular case the writing coming out of recent movies, shows and games. As the Drinker remarked, you can’t make characters or a plot smarter than the writers. That industry took a serious hit with that B.S., but the scary part is when you think about serious entreprises: Medicine, aviation, military, etc. The damage done there will take lives. In other fields we have the current annoyance that most things are working worse than they did before. He says the previous generation pulled the ladder behind them; true, but that’s because most of them held the power and senior positions. But in entreprises where promotion can be quick, the yoots still perpetuated this discrimination. The young women/visible minorities that now hold the jobs are true believers, putting all this DEI and activisim on the same level of priority as the core business. DND and the CF is a splendid example, where culture change was the number one priority under Anand and a 3 star position created to enforce it. The first individual to occupy that office is now CDS. This is not trivial. The chronic underfunding of the CF is routine and to blame for the material state, but they keep reminding the troops, “people are our most important resource” and once you bugger that up, “punching above yoour weight” is not gonna happen. The recent reactions in the UK (and elsewhere in Europe) about the Army boss or MI6 girlboss floating the idea of young men picking up rifles to go fight eeeeeevil Putin is very telling.
A good article, and thanks for posting. There are two points made in it that are particularly important:
1. That white males have gravitated to the “freer” occupational areas like Substack and cryptocurrency. In times part Jews were discriminated against, so many entered occupations that were open to them. Especially with artificial intelligence coming on to replace professional jobs, white males will have to think about being entrepreneurs. As well, there is a parallel conservative media and culture still developing. In a way, this change is welcome in that it could attract skilled white males.
2. I like his ending, where he acknowledged that he had expected to coast along as a screen-writer, not expecting that the evils of DEI would discriminate against him. But that is why a conservative culture is important. We all know that the liberal corporate media is dying (thank God) — and as the writer says it’s partly because of the DIE hiring that sped up the death process. And aren’t other cultural institutions dying as well?
Hard times breed hard men.
