      Why? Because you’re $RICH$ if you can afford to build/buy a home of any size in Sonoma. And the leftists still bemoan and wonder why housing is so unaffordable in CA?

      2. $41,532 works out to about $57,944.72 CAD which is $5k more than the Toronto Development fee for a 1 Bedroom or Bachelor apartment at $52,676 CAD

         Of course if you want a single family dwelling like that “luxury 4,000sq ft home” you’d need to pay $137,846CAD.

      If the wealthy are going to be asked to “chip in more” I think it’s worth citizen’s while to consider, buy a house they can easily afford, and take their money out of all streams which the gov’t deems more taxable. It could be dramatically worse next year, keep in mind there are NO SIGNS of improvement whatsoever, and not a week goes by without the gov’t announcing a new tax scheme.

         that’s the development charges, first page is what you pay if you are selling it, but the second page shows how much lower it is if you are building “purpose built rentals”, which of course is what the champaign socialists lead by Comrade Chow prefer.
