BREAKING: Ukraine has agreed to the full terms of President Trump’s peace plan to end the war with Russia, per ABC News.
— The Kobeissi Letter (@KobeissiLetter) November 25, 2025
Based on recent reports, it’s unclear. ABC News states a US-proposed peace plan was revised from 28 to 19 points after talks, but Ukraine’s Zelenskyy says no final agreement yet and more work is needed. Other outlets like CBS and Moneycontrol cite US officials claiming Ukraine agreed to terms, with minor details pending. Further developments may clarify.
Oil slides on the optimistic headline that Ukraine has tentatively agreed to the Trump-backed deal..

We’ll see which way Zelensky’s self-preservation and self-enrichment instincts take him.
If peace is achieved he’s probably out, but perhaps in a less violent and fairly lucrative fashion. If the war continues he’d also likely be out — eventually, and possibly in a more bloody fashion as the Ukrainians are getting a bit war weary. Then there is the corruption scandal that Zelensky’s government has to countenance — such bad timing for that to come out.
Oddly enough, Putin has to be concerned about this too — this Special Military Operation hasn’t exactly gone as easily as some in Russia thought it would — he’s sitting on top of some potential problems. I’m sure he’d like to side step them and save face as best he can.
This peace plan is being criticized by many different factions; it’s always interesting to see who is doing the criticizing and conjecturing as to why they are screaming about it.
Putin’s problems are almost nonexistent, as his recruiting numbers for the military are very strong.
Most of Putin’s problems are in the minds of BULLschiffters, like the scarp.
Russia Stronk? They haven’t exactly done a stellar job with their Special Military Operation — 3 days to stop the spread! Ironic how that lined up…God has a sense of humor.
Although I will grant that Putin has perhaps side stepped some of his problems thanks to that trip to Alaska. Otherwise, he gets to continuing to play this little game with Zelensky. I wonder how Ivan the taxi cab driver in Chelyabinsk feels about that? Or, he gets to do the funniest thing — really should go over that peace plan’s points…wonder why it got leaked…
“his recruiting numbers for the military are very strong”
I’ve seen the videos. Every geriatric alcoholic in Russia has signed up and every non-white male has been drafted. I’ll give a nod to Kate that the St. Petersburg crew thinks her website is important enough to spread their BS here.
That is the precise opposite of the truth.
So, you’re saying you agree with it?
No Trump deal of any significance has been agreed to by anyone. Lots of frameworks and understandings and structures but no actual deals.
Apply the 24 hour rule to everything Trump related.
Perhaps. We’ll have to see.
Still, it doesn’t really matter at least for the United States — peace deal, no peace deal….who cares? (TM)
Apply24 hour rule?
Better yet assume anything and everything the media and government, any government, says is a lie until or unless proven otherwise.
Somewhere a French general’s tear falls on his croissant.
And a British banker’s falls into his cup of tea.
Watch what the ECB and the City does. Which, by the way, will give you Canadians a heads up as to how you’ll be affected…and perhaps Americans as well. It’s likely to get very interesting.
That poor French general will have the sads.
He won’t be able to sacrifice other people’s kids into the machine of a losing war.
Hint to all. Russia isn’t losing. It’s fighting how it fights all its historic wars.
The war of attrition.
And that isn’t exactly winning either.
Forget the battlefield. The real story is with Russia’s frozen assets; what did Putin say about them? Ah, yes, ‘the best money we never spent’ — interesting take, no?
Generals and majors always seem so unhappy unless they’ve got a war:

Don’t ask ME what MY terms of surrender would be for Ukraine, as I am anxious to immediately STOP sending my grandchildren’s taxes into the Ukraine sinkhole.
Yes, surrender. Call it by any euphemism you desire, but Ukraine LOST the entirety of the East of their nation. Yes, on Biden’s/Zelensky’s watch. They ain’t getting it back short of turning it to nuclear glass.
Take the loss and move on.
Our President has given Zelensky until the 27th and then American arms may be stopped. In the meantime Russia just turned down the EU counter proposal.
When is a loss not really a loss?
Now about that peace prize …
Never trust the Russians.
In fact, when you consider the USA’s non-commitment to the Budapest Accords, don’t trust the Americans either.
There will be a couple years peace. Russia will consolidate their gains, then drive on Kiev again. USA will stand back.
No, you should never trust any foreign government to work for your country over the interests of their own — at least not a government that is doing it’s job.
Perhaps the Russians are realizing that they don’t have to drive their tanks to Kiev? Ah, but what happens to the EU/UK if the war stops? Perhaps there’s a reason they want it to continue?
“No, you should never trust any foreign government to work for your country over the interests of their own — at least not a government that is doing it’s job.”
Exactly. Nations don’t have friends…they have interests.
The timing of this is inconvenient for the well-meaning but totally misguided warmongers posting here (you know who you are) who would love to keep this conflict going, since Russia has effectively surrounded two critically situated Ukrainian cities and is poised to capture them soon. If they do so, it will be all but over for Ukraine (and Ukraine knows it).
Stop the slaughter. End this now.
Don’t ascribe good intentions to everyone; some of it is very ill-intentioned. But, it serves an agenda; maybe we’ll find out whose in the long run.
Ukraine is indeed losing, but Russia has also paid a heavy price and not exactly won. My President was very correct when he labelled this a very stupid, misguided war that shouldn’t have happened (and the Russians, or elements within that country, share their chunk of the blame — stupid).
It is well past time to stop the slaughter, and it is with a great amount of schadenfreude on my part that it should happen in the way it is shaping up to stop. This is going to set the stage for further fun and games.
“Don’t ascribe good intentions to everyone; some of it is very ill-intentioned. ”
Oh, I don’t. There are no heroes here.
“But, it serves an agenda; maybe we’ll find out whose in the long run.”
Maybe the general public will finally come to realize who designed and executed this conflict…it wasn’t Putin.
“My President was very correct when he labelled this a very stupid, misguided war that shouldn’t have happened (and the Russians, or elements within that country, share their chunk of the blame — stupid).”
He’s not wrong. The Russians did take the bait, for sure…but they didn’t really have any good options IMO. Ethnic Russians were being slaughtered in the Donbass.
“It is well past time to stop the slaughter,”
It serves no purpose anymore.
Certain people here seem to require reminding that Russia DID NOT START this war, and that the people who actually DID engineer it have also sabotaged at least one perfect opportunity to end it (because they are just making far too much money from it).
We see you. We recognize your hatred and your bloodlust for what it really is.
You can sneer that we love Putin (no, sorry, we don’t) all you want…but you are fooling no one with your ignorance, your accusations or your lies. This conflict will end soon whether you like it or not.
Right. All those Russian tanks crossing the Ukraine border on February 24, 2022 were just there to shop for perogies and Easter eggs.
“Right. All those Russian tanks crossing the Ukraine border on February 24, 2022 were just there to shop for perogies and Easter eggs.”
They were there to stop the slaughter of ethnic Russians that you so gleefully make excuses for.
If that were true, they would have not marched on Kyiv, getting within 40 km of the city. They would have focused on southeast Ukraine where almost all ethnic Russians live.
No, the invasion was intended to annex all of Ukraine.
“If that were true, they would have not marched on Kyiv, getting within 40 km of the city.”
Although the Azov Battalion was based in Muriupol, The National Corps, the political party associated with the Azov movement, is headquartered on Zoya Gaidai Street in Kiev.
Keep trying.
Holy crap, that’s a weak response.
Anyone that doesn’t believe that Putin was trying to take over all of Ukraine is naive beyond belief.
Sounds like it’s already DOA.

Interesting sources of that information.
This war doesn’t end without Zelensky being driven from Kiev and replaced with someone willing to agree to the restoration of Russian law and civilization in the Ukraine. Putin will never agree to a settlement that makes it possible to use the Ukraine as a staging ground for a genocidal war against his oeople. Nor should he.

Meh.
My enemies are not in that area.
Our media continues their blatant dishonesty,if they mention this mess at all, with pure propaganda.
“The victorious Ukrainian army advances ever westward, making huge advances daily”.
And we thought Pravda was clumsy propaganda..
I will wait,at least 3 weeks, before I buy any of the “Peace has been negotiated” BS.
We are witness to the most corrupt war yet.
A murderous waste of Ukrainian citizens.
Will we ever see criminal charges, for the bandits?
Not in Can Ahh Duh.
