The President has issued a statement to the media regarding the BBC, that they have until Friday-tomorrow to apologize and retract their hit piece on him which led to 2 BBC executives resigning, or they’ll face an expensive lawsuit, talk of $1 Billion in damages… I haven’t seen that those who edited the video were fired. Since then… the BBC has carried on their front page “news” a “live” news article which is being continually updated every few hours, it looks like it’s a “breaking news” story, oh how you know they wish something would come of this, but there doesn’t appear to be anything real or “breaking” about it. It actually looks like they’re grasping at straws in hopes that something/anything sticks to The President. I doubt the BBC has enough sense to apologize and retract the “news” video they made, while I’d simply like to state to all that I’d be happy to sit on that jury when the crap hits the fan…

      Yeah, that’s what struck me as well. It’s all well and good for the bosses who ordered or enabled it to be fired (they should be), but the person doing the actual editing also has to go. They made a deliberately deceptive edit with the intention of spreading false information, and *they knew it*. They can’t hide behind, “I was only following orders” this time.

  6. The Left and the RINO’s are still DESPERATE to Epstein Trump. Yeah, that’s a metaphor for killing Trump. They will throw anything and everything against the wall to assassinate Trump. Assassinate his Presidency. Because his Presidency has already been an embarrassment to every POTUS since maybe T. Roosevelt. Trump’s success by NOT doing business as usual … by NOT allowing the Deep State to run our country … has been game changing. And he’s HATED for it.

    The Epstein “Files” … which are evidently nothing more than a collection of emails … will continue to be released in dribs and drabs … each release accompanied by Trump attacks such as … “Epstein said he saw Trump with bikini-clad women in a kitchen”. Ohhhhhhhhh Mommmmaaaaaaa … Trump was near bikini-clad women … in Florida! The Horror. The Horror. He MUST be guilty of something!

    1. Of course there are Epstein files. The guy was under observation, if not investigation, going back many, many years.

      Do you really believe that there were no notes jotted down or reports written up by the observers/investigators.

      The guy was a big fish who hobnobbed with politicos and the rich and famous. Three-letters agencies would want to get as much dirt on them as possible, not necessarily to use but to have just in case.

      1. And what do you believe those “Files” reveal? D’ya remember what the “Dossier” … assembled by a professional intelligence operative … revealed about Trump? Jack, and squat. But the “Dossier” was repeated and pushed as some sort of meaningful series of documents for years. It was a sword of Damocles held over Trump’s head.

        So the “Files” will reveal all the wrongdoings of Epstein? And Trump? Yeah, wake me up when ANYTHING significant or legally actionable comes to light.

        Just like my prediction of a BOOMING post-tariff Trump economy … I am predicting NOTHING ever comes from the nebulous Epstein “Files”. Nada. No matter how many releases.

        Sure there were…and they were released. Anything *not* released was also *not* released by the Biden administration, meaning that there is no information there damaging to Donald Trump. IF there is anything left at all.

        I understand that many of the ‘victims’ here (the teenaged prostitutes who may or may not have been of legal age at the time) have received millions of dollars in compensation and have signed NDAs as well. IF there is any information that hasn’t been released yet, that may be related to the reason why.

        But again, there is nothing left that is damaging to Donald Trump in any way, so he has no reason not to release any information that his administration might still possess.

        1. I was refering to the existence of files, nothing more, not whether they may be damaging or not to Trump, but that’s what you (and Kenji) are singularly focused on.

  7. They are protecting some REALLY heavy hitters, valuable to both Democrats and Republicans.

    If Trump was involved, Democrats would have released the files durong the Biden administration.

  9. And speaking of the Trump campaign promising full release of the Epstein “Files” … the campaign also said they’d release the complete JFK “Files”. Well, they DID release the full JFK “Files” … and it was all a big nothingburger. What was withheld by the 17 Intelligence Agencies? Who knows, we’ll never know. So we learned precisely NOTHING MORE about the JFK assassination that we don’t already know. So speculate away! Nothing has or will change your own personal conspiracy theories.

    But you know what? JFK Jr. isn’t still banging on about it like everyone seems to be about The Epstein “Files”

    Gee, I wonder why everyone is still banging on about Epstein? It wouldn’t be to “catch Trump” in some nefarious sexual wrongdoing … would it? This is such a transparent hit job. Psssst … nothing is EVER going to come of The Epstein “Files” … please make a note of it. Double psssst … electoral campaigns make lots of silly promises they know they can’t control or keep.
