Uhm, labour unions voted for Soviet and Marxist style governments to “manage the economy”; well that’s what they do once they get elected, crush labour dissent.

And enjoy the breadlines as the government increasingly “manages” agriculture.
“Public servants that are over the age of 50 (for those who joined the public service before 2013), or age 55 (for those who joined after), have 10 years of employment and at least two years of pensionable service will be eligible for an early retirement with no penalty.”

I’ll believe positions were actually culled when I see it. Same as UCP here in Albertistan: positions will not be filled once the person retires. It’ll all be done through attrition, with no actual layoffs or firings.
