Blacklock’s- Anti-Labour Orders ‘Poison’

“We have been alarmed at the growing readiness of the federal government to intervene in labour relations, to terminate collective bargaining, to end legal strikes and to even outlaw legal strikes before they begin,” said Bea Bruske, president of the Canadian Labour Congress. “Ottawa’s readiness to intervene poisons collective bargaining. It encourages employers to expect and rely on government intervention.”

  1. “We have been alarmed at the growing readiness of the federal government to intervene in labour relations…”

Uhm, labour unions voted for Soviet and Marxist style governments to “manage the economy”; well that’s what they do once they get elected, crush labour dissent.

    Cry me a river unions.

And enjoy the breadlines as the government increasingly “manages” agriculture.

  2. “Public servants that are over the age of 50 (for those who joined the public service before 2013), or age 55 (for those who joined after), have 10 years of employment and at least two years of pensionable service will be eligible for an early retirement with no penalty.”
I have no words sufficient to say how I feel about this.

  3. 30,000 parasites culled?
That should be the number remaining after the cull.

As for the AI shyte. Where’s the power coming from? Windy mills or Sunshiney panels?

    1. I’ll believe positions were actually culled when I see it. Same as UCP here in Albertistan: positions will not be filled once the person retires. It’ll all be done through attrition, with no actual layoffs or firings.

  4. “We have been alarmed at the growing readiness of the federal government to intervene in labour relations, …”

Translated: I’m scared shitless that the rank-and-file will start calling me useless.

  5. I’m not campaigning for the Liberals. This is just an old Balkan folk dance that I like to do.
