Why this blog?
Until this moment I have been forced to listen while media and politicians alike have told me "what Canadians think". In all that time they never once asked.
This is just the voice of an ordinary Canadian yelling back at the radio -
"You don't speak for me."

“d’Entremont cited his narrow 1.1% margin of victory in the last election and said he was considering what would be best for his constituents.”
Best for his “constituents “. Did you get that?
Got it clearly. Sorry, I can’t go drinking tonight, I’ve got a pain in my constituents…
well he’s no Churchill…
Churchill at least crossed the floor from the government to the opposition. Something you’ll never see today.
his name is “between the mountains.”
goof
we have a sad uniparty, playing their roles with trendy glasses and soft faces.
you go, gurls
PS just because you ditched the glasses, PP, we still know, yo.
He needs a backing group called the Valley Girls.
He’s not taking a hit from the Liberals Newfoundland and Yukon cousins who got wiped out recently.
For the Albertans in the room who could forget Jack Horner
Just a small time petty crook politician posing as someone who cares. Most political parties are full of them. They protect the bureaucracy that protects them. This is why, in Europe, AfD, LePen and Reform in the UK are successful. These parties have a short time to slay the dragon before they, too, will fill up with with opportunistic trash.
What I want to know is how much he was paid.
Ooops, I meant to not strikethrough, not italicise “crook”.
Not a chance of getting the Liberal nomination (unless he is appointed) for the next election so what was his price? He is getting a NS provincial pension and will get a Canadian MP pension so he won’t starve.
As for wanting to be speaker, that would effectively take a vote from the Conservatives and give it to the Liberals so what was he thinking? No wonder the party didn’t support his quest for more pay and a luxury pad.
Now that it has been established that he could be bought, what will be the reward he was promised?
