Elon Musk fired approximately 6,000 employees after acquiring Twitter, which he later rebranded as X. This represented about 80% of the company’s workforce at the time.
I wonder if 80% of all the high tech companies employees are as useless as Twitter’s were?
It’s impossible to overstate how important this was. It really was the first opening in the fight against the monolith of disinformation that existed in social and main stream media. The others are still trying, but it doesn’t work anymore.
