      As a country we would not be in the mess we are currently in if we only had the good sense to elect better federal politicians. No truer statement about the country has been made.

      IMHO Canada and Alberta are fortunate to have an individual like Black state what is obvious about Alberta’s future. Alberta holds all cards to its future, whether that future is as one of the most vital and important provinces in the country in the 21st century or whether that future is as an independent sovereign country within North America.

      While I hope for Canada to remain unified I recognize that the greatest impediment to that prospect is the current governing class of politicians in Ottawa. If they come to their senses then the country may survive. If not then the same politicians and the Canadian electorate will have forsaken the opportunity of the century to build a better nation.
