  2. There’s all sorts of problems with the Government of Canada supporting the press. One of them is that the press has a strong incentive not to say anything that might annoy the current government lest they lose their funding.

        I was responding to the above story of Guilbeault reviewing the funding of a Montreal-based magazine. I have never heard of the government carrying out a simiar review before, much less withdrawing funding. Even if they don’t withdraw funding, the very act of reviewing the magazine sends a warning shot across the bow of Canada publishers.

        And maybe you should keep the insults to yourself.

      1. I think crazy Katie Hopkins is stellar in her humor, and I actually have a regional Gold Medal in individual humor and a Silver Medal in the mixed group category from the 80’s. I think Katie would appreciate being termed “crazy” as well. It is what she’s built her career on, and not so different from the many online commenters who referred to themselves as “deplorable” after being referred to as deplorable by Hillary Clinton.
        I’m well aware (as are most folks at SDA) that Katie is joking, but also that she’s probably game to partake in this rodeo festivity as well, though I may be a greater fanboy of Lara Logan, in spite of them being married. (normally married, and not to each other).

        The gals posting on Insta that their moms only took Tylenol while pregos when they were “hung-over” are somewhat more funny than the ones taking it to spite The President and RFK. So we may have some common ground there…

This cuts me to the quick.

        That’s a new one, Justin Burch. I’m neither of those, as my turn to the right began in earnest when I was 12 years old, raised in a family of Liberals and surrounded by NDP signs on lawns throughout the neighborhood during every election, which alienated me somewhat for about 40 years, even though I’ve been shown to be comprehensively correct in all of these past decades.

        I’m not about to start including the “/sarc” after every stab at humor, if folks don’t see the humor in being stabbed, that’s their business. I’m not the Red Cross here…

  7. There is a kid in our extended family with autism. Bad enough that his life will be forever screwed up. Forget about a job, forget about a girlfriend. And these crazy women might just be doing this to their unborn child just to spite a man that doesn’t even know they exist. Tylenol says don’t take Tylenol if you’re pregnant.

    1. My AI program REFUSED to verify that the 2017 comment from Tylenol that didn’t recommend Tylenol for pregnant women was true. The AI refused to fact check the TRUTH of the Tylenol statement in 2017. Why? I thought AI is equivalent to the sum total knowledge of mankind … smarter than any single human being? But it can’t give a direct answer to a simple question?

      2. Probably because the evidence that Tylenol causes autism is not particularly strong. There are studies supporting both sides of the argument. The advice to avoid Tylenol is based on an abundance of caution.

    1. My solution? Since this happened halfway between me and Scott Adams. Lock the doors, trapping the gang of cowards in the store, and machine gun strafe the store. The result will likely dissuade the next flash mob of thugs.
