I’ve lived in Colorado my whole life, now in my 70th year. I’m thankful, and grateful to my parents for having grown up here and enjoyed climbing, hiking and skiing for so many years. The state is probably beyond redemption, but the idea of packing up the house and moving to a new town where we know no one and starting over is very daunting.
The other consideration is where would we go? Every nice place throughout the west has been “discovered” and ruined by the Cali locusts. Sigh.
