          Typically they’re not in the streets; the sidewalks and alleys are their turf.
          Met one in a high traffic intersection, between the dumpsters and the grease bin. Suffice it to say neither of us were paying attention. Kicking a rat is really satisfying, the feel of it, difficult to describe. I can say with confidence that a rat is far sturdier (and smarter for that matter) than a Smart.

    Insurance about to be cancelled, drivers driving with suspended licenses. Based in California. A reform of a company that was forced out of business for unsafe practices that simply reopened. CDL mills moving bodies, not training drivers. Payments to testers to pass people who fail to qualify. Drivers who can’t speak English or read road signs. Not complying with safety rules. Violating limits to hours of driving. Other than that, not much more comes to mind. Other than what is such a crappy California-based company doing in Texas?

    Numbers indicate pollsters (trust us we use complicated formulae) depressed the Conservative vote by 5%, inflated the Liberal by 6% and who cares about the rest. This is consistent with the last election which showed actual results for the conservatives jumping from between 6% and 12% in some ridings. So are pollsters just bad at the numbers game or are some players gaming the results based on their own Ideology (looking at you Graves) using polls to influence voters impressions?
    Anyone know of legitimate studies reviewing systematic errors in polling results?

  14. While my family sits stranded for 10 days. it seems apt to go down the memory hole. This private members bill to insure flight attendants would not work for free, received MAID before it could gain any traction. We are 8 months into 2025 and the HOC has sat 20 days. How about we stop paying people who don’t show up for work?

    1. I live in Beautiful British Columbia. I have a friend whose daughter works in the ER of our local hospital, and she says that staff there are instructed to prioritize the indigenous, no matter what condition they are in when they arrive.

    President Donald Trump said on Truth Social Wednesday that Federal Reserve Governor Lisa Cook “must resign, now!!!”
    Trump’s comment came after the director of the U.S. Federal Housing Finance Agency, William Pulte, a sharp critic of the Fed, alleged in a letter to Attorney General Pam Bondi that Cook “falsified bank documents and property records to acquire more favorable loan terms, potentially committing mortgage fraud.”
    In the letter that Pulte called a “criminal referral,” he said that his agency had obtained her mortgage documents and requested that the Justice Department review the matter.
    He further alleged that Cook falsified her “residence statuses for an Ann Arbor, Michigan-based residence and an Atlanta, Georgia-based property.”
