Coal injunction:
I am working on a major five-part series to run next week on the efforts by some activists to use a court injunction to block Saskatchewan’s coal revival efforts before it even gets going. Among them is a Greta Mark II, a 12-year-old non-binary child who has been in the headlines at age 10 for the pronoun issue, then at age 11 for skipping school because of climate anxiety. Another doesn’t even live in Saskatchewan. You can’t make this up. As a prelude to that series, read Bronwyn Eyre’s column on judicial activism and lawfare. The NET ZERO Canadian government is demanding EVERYONE drive an EV. Because EV’s are going to save the planet or something. So WHY … if this is such an essential for human survival … doesn’t the Canadian government embrace and welcome cheap, plentiful Communist Chinese EV’s into Canada?
If EV’s are going to SAVE the planet, then who cares who makes them?
This is how the entire planet (mostly) has treated FOOD. Food is an ACTUAL essential for human survival, so it is (mostly) fairly traded and/or purchased by producer country governments and GIVEN to hungry nations.
If Canadians are so hungry (sic) for EV’s … then why not allow the ChiCom EV’s to FLOOD into Canada? Hey! It would hurt Elon Musk the most … which would give every Eunuch in Ottawa a giant boner.
The Chinese are trying to renegotiate/restart that BYD deal they had with Canada, I believe.
Look folks, turdo la doo and blubber douggie pissed away billions of our dollars on EV battery plants. Their inner sanctum buddies wouldn’t get to profit if there was chicomm competition. That’s what the tariff is for; that’s why they’re forcing us out of ICE cars and trucks.

He doesn’t mean that the car plants would be profitable, only that their buddies who get involved would get more rich. Example – former premier of Ontario Dalton McGuinty decided to eliminate our 7! only coal plants by spending billions of dollars on windmills. It took 10 years, but he managed to close those 7! coal plants. Never mind China built more than 7 coal plants in the few weeks he was thinking about legislation to start closing ours. Coincidently, all the companies awarded operating licenses to operate the windfarms had board of director members that were either former liberal cabinet ministers, or big donors to the liberal party.
Don’t forget, he blew up Lakeview to insure that it couldn’t be converted to run on Natural gas, despite the fact that one of Enbridge’s main feeds ran right across the property at Lakeshore.
