Juxtapose!

Tristin Hopper- From killings to rape, the heinous crimes that could get you less jail time than a Freedom Convoy organizer

It’s certainly the case that you can do an awful lot of heinous things in Canada before a prosecutor would ever think of asking for seven years. Below, a not-at-all comprehensive list of things you can do in Canada, and have the Crown seek a lighter sentence than the one they’re seeking for the organizers of the Freedom Convoy.

  1. -Sexually assaulting a baby
-Using a car filled with guns to ram into Justin Trudeau’s house
-Killing multiple innocent people via drunk driving
-Stabbing a man to death because he told you to stop abusing your girlfriend
-Being a police officer who stalks and sexually harasses crime victims
-Amassing enough child pornography to fill a video store
    -Torturing a toddler to death
    -Shooting at police

  2. The influence on our alleged justice system from the LPC/NDP/CCP is so pervasive that “show trials” are seemingly now the norm. Thought crimes against the state are far more worthy of making examples of than actual crimes against individuals. There once was a time when the only purpose of the state was to protect individual rights. Today the state is likely the biggest threat to individual rights. Given the authoritarian over-reach of the lockdowns and Covid response, Lich and Barber should be awarded Orders of Canada if that award actually stood for anything anymore.

    1. The state has always been the biggest threat to individual rights.

America’s Founding Fathers recognized that and that’s why they drew up a constitution to greatly limit the power of the state.

Yes, it wasn’t perfect and its aims have been eroded over time due to the efforts of “progressives” of all stripes.

  3. The government’s only concern is keeping the stinky serfs in check. It really couldn’t care less if serfs are suffering from the actions of others. But keeping the stinky serfs in check means crushing anyone who dares to stand up to the government or doesn’t pay taxes on time.

  4. After reading Tamara’s book, it becomes clear that these two were not the “Organizers of the Convoy.”
The convoy was a grass roots uprising. Yes, they did some organizing for a large part of the convoy, and they ended up being the spokespeople, but in no way were they singlehandedly the planners and organizers of the mass of people coming together for that beautiful event.
BTW, doncha just hate how the media are unable to call it the Freedom Convoy?
They label it as the so-called Freedom Convoy, or they use the quotes (“freedom convoy”) to show they don’t really believe that moniker.
