    1. Losing the support of your base is never a good thing.

I don’t know what the solution is, but whatever it is Donald Trump had better do it quickly. “Move along, nothing to see here” just isn’t going to cut it in this case.

    1. That’s excellent.
The Biden administration was a giant human trafficking bureaucracy.

    2. “Sometimes they have to call in the SWAT team.”

I was thoroughly disgusted to see people throwing large rocks at ICE vehicles with impunity as ICE was leaving a farm/business. Looked like the government was FLEEING from terrorists.

      1. Yes, it’s hard to comprehend. I’d like to see ICE being a helluva lot more aggressive.

        1. I believe Trump recently granted them permission to use whatever force is necessary.

          1. “I believe Trump recently granted them permission to use whatever force is necessary.”

Good. They should start using that permission before the radical left starts assuming that they are all cowards, and thus easy targets. If the ‘protesters’ see these tactics as working they will never stop…they will just continue to escalate until someone dies.

  1. Other than being a petrie dish disguised as a fancy raft, cruise ships have never been my thing despite people telling me “You really should go, you’ll have the time of your life!”
    No thanks.
Not to mention that like all modes of public transportation…one never knows who’ll ride along with you.
That said – Carnival Cruise Line’s bottom line is obviously taking a hit because there are now new rules… a code of conduct if you will- no marijuana, narcotics, hip hop music *ahem* portable speakers, radios and other devices among other do’s and don’ts.

Carnival finally admitting to themselves that it’s not all of them…but it’s always them.

    1. That is one reason, among many, that Alberta will never be part of the US. For some strange reason, public land in a dozen or so western states is owned by the federal government. Alberta and Saskatchewan were not granted ownership of public land for about 20 years unlike every other province. That will never happen again. We’ve spent 120 years being treated like shit. Never again.

      1. ” For some strange reason, public land in a dozen or so western states is owned by the federal government. Alberta and Saskatchewan were not granted ownership of public land for about 20 years unlike every other province. ”

Not following you. How is public land different than crown land?

        1. When Alberta was made a province, the Federal government retained crown (public) land.

About 20 years later, Federal land in Alberta was transferred to Alberta (except for National parks).

          1. “About 20 years later, Federal land in Alberta was transferred to Alberta (except for National parks).”

            I see….thank you.

Since “public land in a dozen or so western states is owned by the federal government”, public land in Alberta, then, could still be retained by Alberta even if they did vote to join the US.

      2. The federal government cherishes the burden of mismanagement. Not that our state government is doing any better…

      3. Range magazine is right in the middle of this discussion, and has occasionally published articles that demonstrate the difference in the quality of land management when it is under private ownership, and when it is owned by the federal government. As one would expect, private land owners do a far, far better job of maintaining and preserving the land.

    1. Yet one more reason not to fly. I just completed a 3,800 mile driving trip because I don’t like putting my life in the hands of someone about whom I know nothing.
