    1. The initial videos that came out were so horrible and stomach churning that I refused to watch any subsequent ones that came out.

    An additional tariff on all goods entering the USA from Canada from 1. August 2025, of 35%
    If/when Marx Carnage raises the tariffs on American made goods by 35% (for example) the American tariff on Canadian produced goods will adjust to 70%

        Reading the Ceeb piece, one is left with the impression that Lord Carney is working full time on the tariff crisis, instead of vacationing.

      2. I think The Carnage is on vacation for more than this week. Parliament is expected to reconvene in Sept. but I can’t imagine taking a teacher’s holiday while this tariff is dangling in front of us.
        The President takes vacation days, as an executive position he’s “on” everyday, he takes a long weekend, a few days here or there, and while golfing he gets phone calls, makes statements… is up late, starts early, but even Biden didn’t disappear for 2 months. I don’t know The Carnage schedule and my expectations of Canada’s governing braintrust are near zero.
        He may be having closed meetings, making some decisions, but if dairy isn’t on the agenda (and if it was those folks would be howling) and US banks not being permitted into Canada as schedule A banks, fentanyl is out of the news this month but it’ll be back, just pick any topic, I don’t get how a 2 month vacation fits with the number of crisis’ on Canada’s doorstep.

    1. I was driving to LA once, taking the 101 because we were in San Luis Obispo for a stay. When driving through Camarillo (where these illegal, violent attacks against ICE are taking place) … I consulted Gas Buddy as I am want to do … to find gasoline cheaper than one gets on the side of the highway … I was directed about 1 mile West off the 101.

      As I drove block-by-block … it appeared as though I had just crossed the border into Tijuana. I was actually shocked to see how run-down, sketchy, and dangerous-looking the place was. My wife’s best friend from HS and college lives nearby in a nice home with a pool and all … but this was shocking. This was NOT her neighborhood, or her people. While pumping my gasoline, I was approached by several sketchy looking hombres who appeared to be “sizing me up” … I don’t scare easily … but I couldn’t wait to make the U-turn OUT of that “foreign country” ghetto 1-mile off the CA freeway.

      Note to self: beware the NO-GO zones of Camarillo, CA
