    1. Will Adam Carolla be proved correct? Will the bluest of blue voters in Pacific Palisades and Malibu change their voting pattern to red? These voters in fire swept areas are learning some hard lessons as a result of virtue signaling voting.

    2. There is an open, shooting war, on suburbia in CA. The leftists HATE that suburbia is a refuge from their idiotic policies that have shittened-up the cities. So they are doing everything possible to dump the dregs into suburbia. To ensure suburbia … pays their fair share of the illegals and uncivilized who’ve overrun our State.

Oh! But Palo Alto won’t be razing any of THEIR single family homes

      https://www.zillow.com/palo-alto-ca/sold/

Palo Alto homes are selling for up to $2,500.00/sq.ft. Yes … $2,500.00/sq.ft … for shitty little 3-bed, 1-ba 1950’s ranch homes. That’s how DESPERATE Californians are to get their children OUT of the urban hellscapes in CA. Hey Gavin! It’s gonna take a shitload more than $100M to buyout suburban bliss.

  1. L- So do the police in Toronto have air to ground missiles in their helicopters? Should they?
Does anyone know the language playing on the car’s radio? How many of this model of Mercedes would be registered in the GTA?

    1. I saw Billy Preston in Toronto in the early 70s when he toured as part of George Harrison’s “Dark Horse” band.
George’s voice got strained and he asked Billy to sing My Sweet Lord. What a treat.
Oh, and Ringo was there, so I got to see half of the Beatles.
If George Martin was the “5th” Beatle, then Billy was the 6th.

        1. Yeah, Kenji, I think George is underrated. Check out his sweet slide work on the Dark Horse album.
Tax Man hooks are still fresh.
I especially like his acoustic playing with the Wilburies.

  2. L – David Krayden. Former Cdn. Armed Forces Public Affairs Officer tries to figure out a R.C.M.P. Staff Sargent trying to explain what constitutes “extremism” these days; something that that led to an arrest of 3 Cdn. Armed forces members.

The term “traditional values” …? Versus those favouring the “first post, nation-state” values?
We need an updated woke dictionary to know, if we are living in the past or the future or just a simulation.

    1. A great comment from another article.
A way to get accountability out of our political/bureaucrat class::

“As the UK’s own Chancellor, along with politicians of other nations, have so vividly and repeatedly demonstrated, by far the biggest risk to retail investors is politicians. Since that risk cannot be removed, may I suggest instead that all political parties commit to an irrevocable, irreversible, inextinguishable, open-ended Put option available to all retail investors at values linked to their original investment cost, with annual escalation at the greater of Base Rate or Consumer Price Inflation.
To be funded by appropriate reductions in taxpayer-funded benefits (wages, salaries, pensions, expenses etc) currently provided to members of Parliament, employees of central government, local councils and nationalized industries.
Failure to honour the obligation by whatever party happened to be in power would automatically trigger an immediate General Election. To discourage repeated political folly, all members of parliament would be barred from standing for re-election.”

    1. By coincidence, last Friday we had a Singh-Sikh guy pick up the Bell equipment after we cut the cable. He didn’t expose himself though.

    1. I thought they considered us all their slaves, since we all have to work and have our earnings taxed to pay for all the extremely generous CBC salaries?

  3. ICYMI: here is a video of the swift rise and bank overflow of the Guadalupe River from a bridge downstream from Camp Mystic. In 20 minutes time the river goes from placid to raging torrent.
