8. I read in Harper’s Magazine “Index” section, sometime in the late 1980’s a list of things which the Ayatollah Khomeini had decreed, those things which interfere between your islamic prayers and reasons why god (the islamic “god”, not the real God) doesn’t hear them.

   There were another dozen or so decrees, about 1/2 of them had to do with the menstrual women folk, I don’t know what his problem was with menstruating women, clearly he’s never come home after a hard day at the mosque shouting at people and dove right in without a care in the world, which to me is probably his 2nd greatest failure, after accepting that islam is real, which of course is his greatest fail.

   Anyhow my point is, there is no indication as to whether the above woman on the bus is menstrual at this moment, she looks a bit puffy but I can’t tell from where I’m sitting if that’s a sign and would appreciate it if someone knows her, to ask her about this, because that may have contributed to her not being able to cross into the Gaza to do whatever she felt had to be done, but again, maybe she’ll be denied anyways by the islamic god as she does have the possibility of being menstrual.
