    1. Being proud of riots is shit-stupid; all you get for it is being sent to jail. You have to stay within the law if you want positive results and the UK now has a very clear path to that, in the form of the Reform UK party.

      1. Stay within the law in Britain? Where even expressing a contrary opinion is illegal and can get you thrown in jail?

        Seriously?

      2. Riots have been getting results for leftists in many places. Kanada being one of them where peaceful protesting just gets you stomped on.

    1. If the “artist” knew how to make a chair, it wouldn’t have collapsed when someone sat on it. It isn’t art and no loss to anyone.

      1. It may not be art but it was cherished by a lot of people. Also valuable.

By the way, apparently it has been restored.

    1. Some updates on Iran-Israel conflict-

      1) Iran’s Ministry of Intelligence and Security HQ destroyed.
      2) IRGC HQ received direct hit. Within the last hour, IRGC general in gunfight with Mossad agents on the ground in Iran. General eliminated.
      3) Tehran’s Police Chief, held responsible for deaths of many protestors, eliminated.
      4) Tehran is facing raw sewage streams and water main breaks from bombing of military infrastructure. Highways jammed with many fleeing.
      5) Israel’s official government position is to push the Iranians to act now to overthrow the weakened regime.

      1. Send in Victoria Nuland … she’s good at color revolutions. Oops … she’d be on the Ayatollah’s side … restoring Jimmy Carter’s original Arab (err, Persian) Spring. OK … Muslimland Spring.

  1. Was never that impressed with Boston. Too processed. No soul. Give me the ragged glory of The Band any day.

    1. Tom Scholz freely admits he’s an engineer first … and I saw his Boston incarnation AFTER Brad Delp’s death, and they were quite good. But I’ve never seen anything quite like their stage it was packed with electronic equipment (all designed and built by Scholz) stacked as high as their amplifiers … so much that the players barely had room on stage to play! Yeah … super processed music.

But nobody seemed to care about that at my frat house in 1977 when The Boston lp was blasting out our windows all day long from Bose 901’s set to 11.
