1. Karen Bass needs to be arrested and charged with whatever crime is defined by deliberately withholding police services and endangering the public for political reasons.

   1. Unfortunately that’s a non-starter. The SCOTUS has ruled that the police do not have a legal obligation to act to protect anybody from crime. Which is only sensible, really; if they did, every single crime that goes unprevented would be grounds for a lawsuit.

      This is a political matter: if the citizens of LA don’t like the way the mayor is running the police, they can vote her out at the next opportunity. The problem is that the citizens of LA want this and did vote for it. Now, how many of those citizens are also citizens of the United States rather than illegals voting illegally is a different matter, and it’s why mass deportations are so important.

      The thing to keep in mind is that the Democrats/Communists/Ctrl-Left do not want a peaceful resolution, even if that peaceful resolution gives them everything they say they want. What they really want is Revolucion! It’s why they’re constantly pushing insane causes like CHAZ, CHOP, George Floyd, open borders, men pretending to be women. They know that 1) these are completely indefensible causes and 2) significant (if not necessarily large) numbers of people will go along with this for their own reasons. They know there can be no reasonable accommodation, no middle ground. They want an irreconcilable divide that inevitably leads to violence because that’s how you get Revolucion!

      Once you realize that their goal is never what they say it is, but rather Revolucion! you can start dealing with that and not get distracted by whatever they say their goals are.

   2. Well … she allowed, nay strategically planned, the immolation of great swaths of LA. So she will also end up getting great numbers of so-called protestors maimed, injured, and killed, as ICE steps up their own personal defense. This ain’t the 3rd Precinct In Minneapolis. The Feds under PDJT aren’t gonna just collapse and abandon the ICE facility and release all the “dads” … and “workers” from custody.

   The Don should send in a massive National response immediately if this blows up.

   Federal agents, not beholden to the state, shoot to kill the protestors, then it would stop.
