Folks on the Left never criticize their leaders, no matter what they do. Their refusal to do so is cult-like and pathetic.

Trump and the Republicans betrayed Elon Musk and the American people when it came to trying to balance the budget.

This outburst here from Trump is beyond pathetic & disgraceful. Unless there is some 4D Chess being played by Trump & Elon together, then I’m very disappointed in Trump acting in such a childish, spiteful manner.

  1. It may very well be a PR move from Elon. Hoping that rabid left will ease up on burning Teslas.

    1. I think Musk is really against deficit spending. He’s made clear his objection to the big beautiful bill.

  2. Don’t be idiots and believe any of this:
    1- Musk was with trump on the campaign trail and stood right beside him when he promised to kill the EV credits.

    2 – Musk has a huge tesla payday coming, repeatedly voted by shareholders and stymied by a delaware democrat judge. He has to get tesla past the cash flow crunch produced by the vanishing EV credits (most of which his sales no longer qualify for, so not exactly a surprise anyway).

    3 – Trump as the BBB to get through the senate – if Musk hates it .. and maybe Trump is feeling remorse about it..

    4 – Bondi has to get democrats to demand the Epstein files – otherwise she’ll be instantly enjoined not to release them when she tries to do so. So musk implicates Trump .. and democrats demand release right now…

    5 – and, FYI, there are currently 5 Doge bills in congress.

    1. Fine analysis. This Trump enthusiast was just about to say he stands with Musk … but … that was me falling prey to the silly personal BS. Yeah, I believe you nailed it. This is political theatre. Both Musk AND Trump love to tweak the IDIOT media in this way.

      And what better way for Musk to recover stature with the current Tesla owners than to have a falling out with Trump. A mean, spiteful, falling out with Trump. Perhaps they’ll stop keying Teslas now.

      2. These are two of the most hard-@ssed businessmen in the world. Do they ever do -anything- that isn’t aimed at winning? Maybe they miss the odd time, but they hit more often than not.

        Elon went from saint to Satan in a hot minute by supporting Trump. He’s interested in getting back to saint again as soon as possible, because he’s got stuff to do. Is there a better, faster way to get back to popularity with the media morons than trashing Trump? I can’t think of one.

        Best part, the Dems are circling the bowl right now with 19% approval rating. Nobody likes them except the hardest core useful idiots. It’s a good time to stage a fight.

        Ultimately I don’t care. This is the chainsaw part of the operation, it’ll be messy. The cleaning up and building part of the program, planting seedlings for the future, that’ll be in a year or two after they finish draining the swamp and digging out the swamp creatures hiding in the mud.

        America was never going to be saved by a Strongman. It’ll be saved by regular Americans or not at all.

  3. With regard to Trump’s moves — sometimes characterized as 4-D chess — I have adopted Fawly Tower’s hapless waiter Manuel’s answer to Fawlty: I KNOW NOTHING.

    IOW, I reserve judgment on Trumpian moves, longer than for any other human. The alleged divorce especially warrants this delay.

    2. If that were the case, the Dems and their friends in the bureaucracy would have leaked that out months ago.

    3. Trump used Epstein’s plane to get from Florida to New York once when his plane was down for maintenance, which means his name appears in the “Epstein Files”.

      Now ask yourself, do you think if there is anything dirty there, the deep state wouldn’t use it against Trump? Even if the Deep State was making it up?

    1. Never too late. In 2016 I stayed up until past 2am to see the confirmation that Trump had beaten The Hag for the presidency. Took the next day off work. My celebration was glorious.

  9. Wouldn’t surprise me if it’s 3D chess but it wouldn’t surprise me if it’s real. Both men have their fair share of justified ego and personality clashes do happen. That said, neither man got where they were without the ability to set aside personal feelings for the sake of business so if this is real then I would expect them both to get over themselves soon enough for the sake of getting things done.

    Bottom line? If it’s real then I doubt it will last. 🙂

  10. It is common knowledge that Trump is mentioned in some of the flight logs. That does not make him a pedo and, that was before he kicked Epstein out of Mar Lago for inappropriate behavior.
    The Trump/Musk staged Kayfabe is a set up to get the Dems/Deep Stater’s all calling in unison for the release of the unredacted Epstein files. And they are.
    I’d say we are talking 5D chess. Another brilliant Trump move.

  11. I’m sure to some extent this is genuine. I wouldn’t be surprised if Elon were a bit cheesed at things and I’m quite certain that he and Trump have quite different points of view. They’re both very demonstrative characters. There could be a lot of genuine venting going on here.

    Still, I don’t take it seriously. Elvis sang about this: “they had a quarrel, a lover’s spat, they’d write they’re sorry but my singing keeps going flat”, or however that goes. They are still allies where it counts.

  12. If we as voters don’t elect enough Republican congresscritters, we ought not be complaining that not enough conservative bills are being passed. It’s not on Trump for this. Trump can do executive orders – and, boy has he! – but to actually legislate is beyond the role of the prez.
    But I suspect Musk took the naive view of this. He’s very bottom-line – and so far, the bottom-line results are less than YUGE.
