This was, without question, the worst day of the Carney government to date.

The Foreign Minister blamed the democratic State of Israel — not the terrorist group Hamas. The Justice Minister announced he’s working from home and will be taking meetings on Zoom, as though the justice system were a tech startup. The Heritage Minister — who has nothing to do with pipelines — publicly contradicted the Prime Minister on energy policy. What’s next? Will he put a Canadian flag on a barrel of oil and call it culture?

And then there’s the Housing Minister, who made it clear that making homes more affordable just isn’t a priority for him.

      that Marx Carnage is doing a complete 180 on the government’s intention to build pipelines and bringing in radicals like Guilbeault will facilitate that objective, and is steadfastly against building new pipelines?

    2. An “expert” citing peak oil is a tell for someone who doesn’t have the slightest clue about how the industry works.

      There is plenty of oil that is left in the ground because a) it is expensive to extract so ignored for now but would be accessed if supplies were dwindling or technology changes, or b) it has been removed from being counted as oil reserves because it now illegal to drill for, but that can be reversed. (The US for example has a lot of oil and coal that is currently inaccessible because the leftist made the land that contained off limits when they were in power).

BTW, Guillbeault if saying this, it’s because Carney has already agreed to stop any new oil pipelines from being built. The premiers of Alberta and Saskatchewan should negotiate for new oil pipelines directly with the US because that’s the only direction they’ll be going. Why bother pretending that the Canadian federal government has any interest in the welfare and economic prosperity in Alberta and Saskatchewan.
