  1. I’m sure I’ll get grief, but I like the Hijab Hockey story for a bunch of reasons.

    1. They aren’t real hockey players and it’s easy to tell; they still have all their front teeth!

    2. I agree. Any immigrant trying to fit in to Canada and what little culture we have is welcome news. It made me smile that a girl originally from Afghanistan is able to take part in sport. What would her fate be if she was back in Afghanistan?

  3. The article on Hijab Hockey is actually heartening in the sense that it represents far greater assimilation into Canadian culture than anything ever promoted by government or liberal do-gooders, who much prefer internal Balkanization in Canadian society.

    1. A trade deal with the UK will certainly be an interesting development. I wonder if it will have knock-on effects with regards to the Commonwealth and the Crown?

      Money, in the form of trade, can be a very powerful negotiation tool.

  7. re: The Great Reset. FOX news is reporting that Carney is poised to take down America. Meanwhile the curtain is coming down and the chairs are being stacked at Carney’s net-zero/EV/GFANZ show. FOX might be slightly better than the rest of the MSM but they’re still crap.

    1. lm thinking right now, the reason the bike shop works is the oligarchs like mr Carnage are NOT at all accustomed to true investigative journalists with time, know how and resources to DO actual INVESTIGATIVE reporting. seems a lost art in MSM.
      and thts why the bike shop angle works and works. panama papers be damned.

  9. The worst part of foreign aid is not that it redistributes wealth from the native population to foreigners. It is that, as is always the case with government spending, the recipients feed part of the aid back into the political system to keep the pump primed. A feedback loop gets created in which taxpayers have their taxes used to undermine their national sovereignty.
