  1. “The Powers that be, who organized the debate …” = Communist China
No need for “citizens” to ask questions … just OBEY, bow and scrape.

  2. Rogan: “But, that doesn’t make sense.”

Actually, it makes perfect sense. Carney is vulnerable on quite a few issues that would resonate with the majority. The last thing that he can afford is a non-protected media event where someone asks a question that highlights his weaknesses in those areas. They are trying to portray him as a “financial genius” who can somehow extricate Canada from the vice grips of malaise and incompetent leadership. But, someone like Ezra Levant could easily create a soundbite that, absolutely, sabotages that facade.

It would, not only, remove his single most prominent attribute, but would, also, require him to defend his foibles. Carney isn’t very good as explaining, I’ve seen. He turns into a man navigating a field of land mines…and does so poorly. He doesn’t have substance, credibility or solutions. He has minders and decoys. The press scrum removes those defensive parties from the equation and puts Carney out there on display with someone asking valid and exposing questions. He doesn’t have the temperament for that.

    1. “Carney is vulnerable” and, hence, protected by the media henchmen (hench people), and coddled by other shady, little grey people and their rainbow idiots.
      Dangerous times indeed.
I sure hope that the big voter turnout is doing the right thing.

  3. And yet, this is the first mention I’ve seen of the absence of a post-debate press scrum. We really are screwed. This is a very dangerous time.

  4. I’ll add to Petersons comment of CBC on Youtube. Comments are disabled as is chat on their live streams. Try it yourself, pick a CBC Youtube video and comments are disabled. Not sure but I think this generally holds for their website as well. It’s a publicly funded media organization and yet allows no public discourse.

    1. that is why some “friends” I know never see this shit.
But they love Rosie and Rachel….and think Carney is cool.
It is what it is. You can’t get through, and it’s not worth it. And they think vice versa.
      Divided, concurred. Punny, eh?

  5. Had the radio on this morning, and some Legacy Media wanna be, from some out of the way, hillbilly, back water radio station was whining about Poilievre only taking 4 questions with no follow ups. You’d think he’d be happy, that the CPC were taking questions from local stations, like the one he works for,,, but no…
Carnhole, only takes from his media apparatchiks, but that doesn’t bother this hokey looser, even after acknowledging that Carnhole doesn’t answer the questions he is asked, even from his media friends.

  6. The biggest problem is that because the far left lunatics have convinced everyone not on the right to unperson Peterson, none of the people that need to hear this message will do anything other than plug their ears while singing “lalala” off key

  7. I checked my mail today and what I got was a brochure from my MP, Heather “Miss Hamas” McPherson. The slogan was “Help keep the Conservatives out of Edmonton Strathcona”.

It ended up in the recycling bin.

  8. All We’ve done for the last 10 years is gone in the tank.
Ten years of liberal government backed buy the ndp have as good as ruined canada.
We’ve got nothing to loose and everything to gain by giving Polievier a chance.
    No more liberals for me!

  9. “ We are like passengers in a plane losing altitude. We don’t feel it. Alienation builds, incomes flatten out, it’s passengers oblivious to democracy, cynicism spreads, yet because we feel no sudden shock, we go about life as usual, we haven’t noticed that we can count those cars on the Cloverleaf, and the bales in the field.”
Ted Byfield. Speaking at “Reform” convention 1987!

  10. “And no one complained.”

That sums up Canada in one sentence. The only thing worse to a Canadian than starving to death is complaining about it.

“Give me good manners or give me death.”

    1. Not enough complained , I’m sure some people here spoke up at meetings , and gatherings until they realised what was coming people unfortunately deserved and it’s a crying shame.
The complaining hasn’t started yet but if PP doesn’t stop the ship from listing, or Carney sinks it , it’s going to be something else watching people grasp sooner or later politics always matters. And we will have seen nothing like it.

  11. Mr. Peterson, lets not forget that Carney’s ego and dismal debating skills handed Polievre a gift at the end of that telecast. Carney’s handlers were likely a bit miffed at how it all turned out. Could be a good reason to cancel the scrum. After all, they pulled their candidate off the campaign trail for three days to prepare him for blasted debates, then he shat the bed.
